    [PokeCommunity.com] HOT or COLD

    Ok so the change in temperature here as we enter December has got me wondering.. do you prefer hotter weather or colder weather?

    I prefer colder - I don't do well in the heat. I like being able to throw on a hoodie / get under a cozy blanket when cold.

    I prefer the hotter side of things. The world just seems to be on fire with color in the warm months- all the flowers popping out of the ground and bushes, fruit hanging on trees and vines. It's the weather to sleep out under the stars at summer camp or take a trip to the beach.

    The colder months can have a beauty too, like when the leaves of trees start changing colors or there's snow falling around you, but the landscape also can be really barren and gray as the plants go dormant and it quickly gets dark outside, and I miss having the warm sunlight shining down on me- makes me feel more alive. That down below is the weather for me.

    I have a hard time breathing when it gets too hot, and Summers here are very unpleasant. Colder weather is more comfortable for me in general, but especially where I currently live.

    Cold weather is better for me. For one thing, if I'm too cold, I can just put on extra layers. If I get too hot, well... There's only so much I can do with clothing options then. And like Devalue said, it's far quieter outside when it's cold, which makes it easier for me to be out walking. It also means less noise from the neighbors.

    The only problem with the winter months is how it gets dark so early. And the snow, but it hasn't snowed really bad where I live for years.

    It depends on the hot weather. If it's a sticky feeling of humidity (like in the american south) then I'll have to pass. Otherwise, I think it can be nice to have the sun beating down. I also don't like being in a hot car or hot building. It's totally different than being outside.

    Cold weather benefits me because I do have a phobia of bees and there are none. It means I'm free to walk around outside and be content. (although I can't say there's anything that feels good about cold weather). As @VisionofMilotic said, the world is also more colorful in the summer. It depends on our own perspective of beauty though because sometimes I do like looking at dreary skies.

    Cold weather is my favorite, snow is extremely charming imo, even if we very rarely get any in my area. And you can usually bundle up if it's cold outside; while you typically just have to deal with the heat when it's hot.

    I like it when it's cold, but not so cold as to actually be snowing. I prefer an outdoor temperature of around 50°F/10°C.

    Definitely cold. It's easier to just be warm by getting cozy with long clothing. It's also the time when I can wear my favorite onesies out in public.

    I actually hate hot weather due to sensory issues with sweat. It's absolutely AWFUL, especially where Maine gets extremely humid and hot af. :(

    I prefer the cold, it's easier to deal with for me. Also, it is more peaceful (no severe thunderstorms/tornadoes/hurricanes) and there are no insects.
    I LOVE YOUR SIGNATURE BTW JUST THOUGHT I'D TELL YOU THAT. <3

    Anyway, back to the OP: I definitely prefer cold because it's way easier to bundle up and be really warm. In Maine, we get very hot humid days that are literally the WORST because you can't do a damn thing about it. It's awful. ;o;

    Contrary to general idea till now, in this thread, I will prefer bit of hot weather.

    The new city where my campus is situated is too cold for me, at least for these months of winter. The temperature is around 4C or 6C during night, and max of 18C or 19C, which is definitely radically different for me. I am used to live in place where temperature is well over 30C, and can also live even if mercury had touched 50C, which usually happens during summer at our place, but this sudden massive change in weather took a hit on me and I was ill for 10-12 days due to it.

    24C-26C is most ambient and comfortable weather for me, and I will gladly accept it with open arms!
