ok i am still seeing 50/50 on pronouncing it as po-kee-mon or po-kay-mon/po-kuh-mon. the latter is usually the official pronunciation, but that doesn't mean the former is entirely wrong either. how do you say it? how do your friends/family say it (if they know about it, of course)?

po-kuh-mon is basically how I pronounce it

my mother always says it the po-kee-mon way

personally alternating between po-kee-mon and po-kay-mon. But I think I pronounce it po-kee-mon mostly

Being in poland, we pronounce it Poh-keh-mohn, like it's spelled in japanese (ポケモン)

Alternates between Po-kee-mon and Po-kay-mon a lot. When I was younger, I said the first pronunciation a lot more than the second, though? Yeah.

I pronounced it Poh-kee-mon for the longest time. Now I quickly say "Poke 'em On," which I honestly can't tell if sounds more like Poh-keh-mon or Poh-kuh-mon. I think Poh-kay-mon would technically be more correct, É generally making an "ay" sound (café, fiancée), but I feel weird pronouncing the forced accent.

Isn't it officially pokèmon? With the accented E? Pretty sure I've always seen it spelt that way lol.
The accent it reversed, but I think Pokèmon would've been truer to the Japanese pronunciation (though, given the pronunciation of protégé, the ruling might be different for mid-word accents.)

In Sweden, we all say "pokkuh-mon". That's usually how I pronounce it when speaking English too.

Pokaymon. Probably because I got used to how my Japanese friend said it before I heard the dub.

That also got people to poke fun at me for saying it the Japanese way, and not "Pok-uh-mon" like the dub. sdfsdf

^ That was years ago before the Pokaymon pronunciation was more common, though.
