    With a couple days left, how has this particular year been for you?

    Did you have any "Highs and Lows" or would you consider this year mostly unremarkable?

    My personal highest point was probably a boat trip I took with my school. I initially wasn't looking forward to it. I had to give a speech I wasn't feeling up to, and I dreaded the trip because it was an all day thing and I hardly knew anybody in the class. Both things turned out great though.

    The lowest for me was being picked up from school and finding out someone I knew was going to die, after someone else I knew had already passed away earlier that week.
     
    2017 has been a mix year, lotsa downs to start off, but later on everything kinda went aight with finding a place to vent out and have fun.
     
    2017 was a horrible year for me, my mother got sick. Some stomach complication I guess, so I exhausted all meh money on medical supplies.. Now I'm MC Hammer broke.
     
    Awesomeness, I feel like I accomplished a lot in my studies this year, and I found a lot of enjoyment in things. The only downside is that parts of the year kind of flew by really fast, but that's not so bad.
     
    2017 was decent. Not very eventful but decent. Went to a few concerts that were great, I've enjoyed the Switch fairly decently. Other than that, work work work.
     
    it was probably the best year and the worst year ive ever had. i wouldnt say it was overall good, but id say it was pretty important to my life etc etc.
     
    2017 was a really good year for me. I did so much fun stuff this year. I got hired at Universal Studios, I went to Virginia to visit my sister, traveled to Washington DC with my sister which is really close by to Virginia, went to a concert with her. My sister is actually visiting me right now and we are doing fun stuff together this week and we had fun last week.

    I am the type of person who is always home. I never get out of the house, and for many years I stayed cooped up in my room and am so lonely in my room and this year and last year, I finally went out of my room and got to see so much stuff outside.
     
    It was full of a lot of change. Chapters closing: finally graduated uni, and left the organisation I worked my way to the top of. New chapters beginning: corporate job, being Fully Out.

    Highs definitely being coming out to my family, graduating, getting that new job which I'm liking a lot, finally gymming regularly, and my spontaneous trip to Thailand and Cambodia that I booked like 48 hours in advance.

    Lows probably being the post-coming out stress (lololol rip), leaving the organisation I've been with for a while (literally 500 people in the org from around the country knew who I was and respected me, so leaving the organisation even though it was time, was a big adjustment), and the weird feeling of adjusting to living back at home.

    Bring on 2018 :)

    2017 was a good year for me i would say. i started college and finished my first semester with all A's, so that's something. i met my darling boyfriend this year in May and started dating him in October. I dunno where'd i'd be without him. i myself also made a lot of personal changes in 2017 for myself. i started being more positive and finding better coping mechanisms for my mental health issues. so far, i'm doing well i'd say.

    2017 was a big year for me, i think. i still have little to no friends, but i found out a lot about myself and figured out what works for me and what doesn't. i'm grateful for all the support i have gotten this year from immediate family and my many online friends. without their support i'm not sure i would've had such a good year. youtubers were also a big help for me in 2017, to be..cliche or "cringe" or whatever. i don't have a lot of irl friends, and the ones i do have are constantly busy so it's hard to make plans. thus, i ended up relying a lot on youtube for whenever i was really down or needed a friend to be there for me. because in a way i consider the youtubers i watch friends, especially jack, because he and i have interacted with each other many times and he's noticed me many times, to the point where i can sort of officially consider him my friend now. the jse community also helped a lot and was there for me when i was down. jack has a huge community, but it's still an amazing and friendly and kind community and i'll never be able to give back to the community or jack for how much they've helped me. dan and phil were also two youtubers that helped me a lot. their videos give me a lot of joy, whether it be their liveshows or main channel videos or gaming videos. felix also was a big help as well, since i started watching him more avidly back in january/february, and his sense of humor and content brought me a lot of joy.

    so, uh. yeah. i'm just..grateful for all the support i have gotten this year and i am proud of myself for how far i've come. sorry for this rambling mess of a post.

    You totally need to tell me more how your trip to Thailand and Cambodia went, like what sights you see and such!

    Overall, 2017 was okayish for me. There were some occasions where I was worried what's going to happen next and it messed up my mental health sometimes. Some positives though like I did get some writing done and I managed to get out more thanks to Pokemon Go's legendary raids. My local PokeGo community has been pretty cool overall!
     
    2017 was good, I liked it, there were good and crappy times like every year. Man time flies by... Everything becomes just another memory in the blink of an eye
     
    It fucking sucked.

    Started out nice, met some great people, then met some less great people, then lots of bad shit happened, and it's ruined.

    Time goes on.
     
    2017 started off really badly as I was struggling a lot with anxiety, depression and chronic illness but it turned out great in the end. I tried to close my feelings off from friends and I was constantly stressed, upset and exhausted.

    Finally started taking steps to seek help when I realised I couldn't cope by myself. Eventually things started looking up and the end of the year was a lot better. Went to the US for 2 weeks, met some really cool people, became a lot more confident, finally ended up seeing a therapist for depression and anxiety and started taking a lot better care of myself. Begun to say yes to a lot more opportunities, tried to not overwork myself as much when it came to school and generally became a lot happier. Had a lot of fun weeks before school ended and right now I'm having a blast on break where I've been hanging out much more with friends. There's still a lot I have to work on as an individual but I'm excited to enter 2018 and continue recovering + improving myself.
     
    I wouldn't call it a bad year even though it's the year I started having many headaches. This year I've made a friend and it's just what I need to call a year great. :)
