does anyone still do this anymore
like I remember when the entire site was related to each other pretty much? there used to be threads where you could find your twin, or some siblings, or a parent
pc has become a lot less silly since then
but some people still do those fun things

    what do y'all think?

Families and even pairs have fallen by the wayside. Kind of funny. I believe I still have a family, but hardly could remember their positions in the family. :P

Haha, those sure were funny days. That kind of thing seems to have really died out, probably starting between 2012 and 2013. Maybe earlier.

I never really did much of that myself, but I guess you could say I miss it? It was funny seeing how people would brag about it in their signatures.

I never got the chance to have my own PC family, but I had two pairs and one went inactive, so I'm just left with Starry Windy a.k.a. my victory star.

"Just call me an orphan. I have no family."

Never mind the reference to Ash's Bulbasaur from the anime, I never really got how this worked, so I didn't at any point care for it.

I used to actually care about families. but now I actually consider my closest friends as my family. Zach and Sector being my brothers, Shawn being my hubbo, and Kanzler/Buoysie as my wonderful pairs. <3 I don't think it'll change.

All of my family was kinda connected between forums. Like I had at least 5+ older brothers at PC which originated between 2-3 other forums and yet we were also all on PC.

And then those forums died along with our family relationship. My pair went down with that too :(

Well, we're endangered alright, but we're still not extinct! Me and my brother Foxrally still do this silly stuff. I think we're one of the only recognizable siblings on PC tbh.

All I can remember of my old PC family is that Blade was my momma, Mac was my bro and an old friend named Greg was my sister (don't ask) - can't remember much else about it but given the amount of sons Blade seemed to have I think I have some extra relatives laying around :D

I actually didn't even notice the trend dying out until I realized one day that hey I've seen little mention of stuff like that around. Not that it really mattered to me, while I've done the whole pairing thing I never got much into the concept of a forum "family". Funny thing though, I had forgotten I'd done it at all, and then I found a old saved signature of mine that actually had someone listed as part of one. Of course I can't find the file again when I want to right now to check what the relation was.

I always considered everyone here a little part of my family! I never cared though for pairs or anything like that and since it seems to be dying own it's own I care even less now. I really only ever had a few official family members(a brother, sister, long lost cousin, etc). It's cute though when I see people mention it in their sig and profile <3

Having a pair is still a thing :) A sort of PC bffsie or I know some have actually had a love interest as a pair.

... When I do think about it, I actually have a PC family now. Not "official" like I've never listed them in my sig or anything. But on top of my pair, I most certainly have a brother and a wife. And a rival and a cat. And a future husband. When did all these people happen O.o

Some do, but I don't. XD However, I did about ten or eleven years ago. I had such a huge family like... it wasn't even funny. I had uncles, aunts, brothers... you name it. I think I grew out of this phase after the whole thing with the fakes I met though. I just don't really see the point in them anymore. *shrug* I lost a lot of those people that were dear to me and considered family, so it's possible that's a good reason for me. Then again, I think it's mostly just because I don't really care, you know? It's a part of me that's matured over the years. It's very rare for me to consider someone a part of my extended family. Like... we're talking 5% of the time that someone ever gets considered as a sister or something. So... yeah.

Also, if you noticed... pairs are something I don't care for either. I haven't broken up with my boyfriend lol. He's my soulmate, so why the hell would I even think of such a thing? :P I just don't see the point in having him as my pair. He never logs on because he's not a forum person at all. So, I find it kind of silly to pair with someone I love dearly when they aren't on to share it with me.

I never really developed any close bonds with people back when this was a thing, so I didn't get a family until way later. Fairy as my sister, and Zach as my pair. I think they're pretty cool to show which people you hang out with and consider your good friends on here.

I used to be close with my PC family (I refuse to remove them) I miss them greatly, especially my pair, but it seems they've left PC. I'd love to have more, & meet more people and reconnect with PC on a better level
