    Question Of The Day #10: Do you have an alternative account?

    Although many of us are fond of our current usernames, a lot of PokeCommunity users - including myself - have registered alternative accounts with the idea that one day they may change their names to it or just to preserve it fora sentimental reasons. So, do you have any alternative accounts on PokeCommunity? What are they, and why did you choose those usernames? Do you ever use that alternative account and explore PC on it to escape your main profile and it's associated activity?

    I have two alternative accounts: Dracul and Ringabel. Dracul because I'm a huge fan of the Castlevania series - and the book, Dracula - and Ringabel because he is one of my all-time favorite video game characters, which if you've never heard of him is character from the 3DS game Bravely Default. I don't post with these accounts, but rather just have them in case I ever want to change my username.​
     
    nope this is my only account.
     
    I have an alt that I created last November called Hikari10. Which is my previous username of course, it was just there to hold onto the name but I don't think I'll ever change my username ever because I like the name Hikamaru. I left the alt invisible just for browsing purposes when I need a break from this account.
     
    Ohhhh I have many alts for various reasons. A lot of them are PokéAni accounts- I have Cilan, Dent, Tierno, Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont. :P And then a few random ones, and a few secret ones, and almost none are ones I'd change my name to. I just have them for reasons.
     
    I don't have an alt account, because I never really saw the purpose for it. It'd be wasting posts I could have on this account :P

    But if I were to use an alt account, I would've wanted to name it Scolipede, like some people have alts after favorite Pokémon of theirs (Lilith with Volcarona, and Syd with Petilil, etcetera). Sadly, that name is taken, so I can't use it (maybe I could actually, not that I care too much though).
     
    I don't have any alt accounts nor do I see the purpose of me ever wanting or having one in the future.
     
    I have one, which goes by the name of Perdition Haze. Mostly, I use it for style-testing purposes, so that I could see how things look from a different user-group.
     
    I do, but they aren't for naming reasons. I have no intention in using them because of the links they have to my past mistakes here. I've learned from those mistakes, so I prefer not to have any reason to have to go back to them.
     
    I have this, my really original account, gunnerpow7, and a Homestuck account, arachnidsGrip.

    I was planning to use arachnidsGrip at some point but I just left it there waiting in the dust. Maybe when January comes around then I'll switch the names with this account.

    I think I'll never use gunnerpow7 again. :P
     
    I had my old account - went inactive - Puddle was born - went inactive - Yoshi was born - went inactive - Sprinkz was born - Was too boring - Back to Yoshi
     
    I have a couple of alts. Audino, Meowstic, Janna, and Cirno should be my only ones. Highly considering requesting Meowstic to be deleted since I hardly use that one and feel it would be better off in someone else's hands. Cirno and Janna are there incase I ever feel like swapping names! Cirno was my old username and Janna is my real name so it's hard to let go of those.
     
    I have a couple of alts that I use relatively frequently, and others I've long since forgotten. The big ones being Alexial (the name I joined with), Strawberry (2013 Username of the year), and Laughing Octopus (a name I just adore).

    Then there are some obscure, other names I thought were super cool but I'm probably never going to use. Nymphali (the French name for Sylveon) to name one. I guarantee there are others but I can't remember them right now lol.
     
    I have honestly lost track of most of my alts and I've been browsing from so many different IPs that I can't even use modpowers to track them down anymore haha.

    But relevant ones are Doctor (which I will swap names with soon), Gavin<3 (who was paired to Gav's alt before our main accounts were paired), some Homestuck names (Egbert, Lalonde, Harley., Strider.), one called Journeys because Journey was taken and also an old one names Gary Stu which I used for some RPing but can't access now because I've forgotten what email/password I used :( I should talk to Steve about recovering that...

    Before name changes returned, I created the Adventure account but later merged it with my main Red's Hawt Chibi Pelippers one and this is my resulting main :)
     
    This is my only account...

    I don't see any need to create additional accounts. Besides, I'll be tempted to "fake an identity", which I won't.

    ^are my alt accounts. I used to have an alt named Leaf Storm, which was an alt I used right after I resigned from my first mod tenure, but I got Leafy to merge it with this account. It already had 1,000 posts and Tier 4 (gold) supportership.

    I wonder if Leaf Storm is still there...I could just snatch it up again.

    Most of the alts I use are designing purposes, as well as name holders.
     
    I created an alt account a long time ago, .Another, which I used a few times back in the day. I created it primarily because, naive high schooler that I was, I was afraid of posting a fanfiction under my main account for fear of controversy. It was a Pokemon Bible, and I was worried about how it could be ill-received. Obviously my fears were unfounded, but still. I don't think I've logged into it for ages. I honestly have no idea why I picked that name. Probably had something to do with Kingdom Hearts (I was a huge KH fan back in high school, but I've grown apart from the series since).
     
    Aside from my Hikari10 alt mentioned earlier, me and halcyonic used to have a shared alt named Midkari10. Sadly it's been left in the dust these days but it was really fun.
     
    We need to have a username Buy/Sell/Trade here. I know for a fact there are some awesome usernames out there that are inactive alts of active people who will never use them again, and equally awesome names they can exchange them for owned by other members.
     
    While I'm Still Here, I might as well post and say that I have Nine Inch Nails as an alt. I used it for a little while, and looking back, I Wish I hadn't. It would make Trent Reznor happy to know that I was really edgy and negative while I was on that alt - Just Like You (may have) Imagined him to be if you ever listened to The Fragile. I hit my All Time Low on this site while using it, and it left my reputation Somewhat Damaged. Fortunately, I've long since dragged myself up from The Downward Spiral I experienced while on the alt, as I've since learned that when it comes to resolving things, The Way Out Is Through being civilised, not calling people raccoons.
