Do you have any interest in the arts? i.e. drawing, writing, music... Are you yourself talented with them, or so-so? or do you just enjoy them? Any specific reason that you got into it?

I'm... okay at a lot of things? Like I have a fantastic ear for music but I can't play anything or sing. I can draw acceptably, I'm okay at graphics... I can write alright. I do a lot of creative stuff but I'm just... not that good lmao

For writing, I consider myself to be between intermediate and advanced. I write good papers and essays, as well as do the occasional poetry and storywriting. I've also written good stories in the past too.

For music...I played the flute in 8th grade band. That's all I can say.

For Art...I can only draw stick figures????

I love writing. It's something I'm very passionate about. I write a lot of different stories, mostly depending on my mood. My only problem is being able to finish any of them though. :c I got into writing because it also helps me express myself since often times, I can't explain myself verbally at times. Writing is like a second language for me.

I do like to draw as well, but I think my writing skills are better. XD

Music is also important to me as well, at least when it comes to listening. As for actually doing music-related things like singing or what not, I don't have a lot of talent for it. I usually sing every now and then... but eh... I'm too confident about it.

I'm fanfic moderator, so of course I'm fabulous when it comes to writing. =P In all seriousness though, I do think I'm a fairly decent writer. I mentioned in another thread how a lot of times comparing myself to others leaves me with a lot of self doubt, but when that happens I try to remind myself there are those that enjoy my stories. I've been getting some feedback on a few of my stories as of recent and I appreciate those very much!

As for how I got into writing, I had two high school teachers that commented on my creative ideas and encourage me to improve my writing more even though I don't plan to do that as a full-time career type of deal. Used that outlet for fanfics instead, haha.

When it comes to drawings/graphics, I used to do some computer animation and graphic designs, but I fell off from those. Graphic design I lost some interest while drawing I can't seem to get myself to focus for a long time like with writing. With music, haven't done anything significant.

i can write, sing, act, and draw.

i've been passionate about all of them at some point, but the one that's been solid is acting. writing and acting have been trained, drawing and singing i've been doing my whole life but they're mostly self-taught so there's no real technique going on yet.

overall i'm satisfied with my progress in them. just gonna keep getting better from here.

I'm very interested in writing, drawing, and music, but mostly writing. My brain seems to shift focus on one of the three for a period of time before switching over to something else for a while. I've come to expect it, so I no longer worry if I'm not quite interested in writing my story. It'll come back, it always does.

art is what keeps me truckin man. I mostly play guitar when it comes to music. my buddies and I get together and jam every chance we get, sometimes we'll cut an ep or something. they're usually pretty bad but it's fun to just put yourself into something and create

I also love to skate. it really is an art. it's amazing to me how thoughtful the things you can do with a single piece of wood can be, I donnu I just love how expressive and free the movements are. I can just sort of tune everything out and explore the quietness of my mind, everything else just kinda whirls around you. it's not too much different from music I guess

like people have said above me art is what keeps me alive, tbh. I play four instruments (or three and a half, really) -- saxophone, drums, piano and I can dick around with the guitar a little bit but not much. aside from that I'm always listening to music unless I'm watching a movie or I physically can't listen to music at the Current Moment. I have consumed a shitton of music in my day and I don't see that changing anytime soon. aside from that I also adore cinema. I watch a lot of movies and some TV and I find it either an incredible form of escapism, or compelling, or aesthetically pleasing, or some combination therein or something completely different. it varies based on the movie / show, but yeah. and I love to read and write as well. wish I could draw but I have 0 talent there.

Writer, singer and actor here. Super passionate on all these hobbies, and I've been taking them really seriously and prioritized them even over school stuff

I love listening to music, but I don't know how to sing or play any instrument. I write sometimes and I enjoy it, although I never really wrote anything serious. But besides these I don't have such a big interest in the other arts.

I really like listening to music.

I'm a writer, but I normally don't post my work online. I really shine at writing tragedies which tackle sensitive and controversial topics. There's a purpose for it though, what I write about is life for a lot of people, myself included. Don't get me wrong though, I'll write a small short story about something upbeat but it I have problems with what I feel as a "lack of sincerity". My work is also not for everyone, I jokingly say that my work consists of four things, which are drugs, sex, pain, and heartache. It's pretty on point though.

I don't have an active interest - as in I don't draw, or paint or make music or write or sculpt etc but I do appreciate it. I visited the National Art Gallery not too long ago with my mum and I found it fascinating. Some of the pieces are really astounding to be honest.

I have so much appreciation for art, dance, and classical music. i wish i could express myself through them, but i'm not very talented so i feel embarrassed to actually do anything for others to see. i'm a good writer, but i don't enjoy doing it, i like poetry though

I'm a songwriter, drummer, and guitarist, so I'm pretty well versed (hehe) in the musical arts.

And we got to hear those guitar skills in that livestream ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'm really bad at creative writing, like the poetry and stories I was forced to write in high school were so cringeworthy. Whenever I try to be all poetic, it just sounds really forced. IIRC I was very formulaic, if that makes sense - it just doesn't come naturally to me. :P

I like arts and crafts though, I'm okay at drawing, I really like sewing, tried a bit of knitting and crocheting (but I definitely don't have as much patience for the yarn-related ones). I like to think I have a good eye when it comes to design, too.

Musically, I started playing the piano when I was about 5 and my ear has always been pretty good - in the tests where I had to recognize and name notes being played just by listening, I was never wrong.

I'm not that great in any of the arts, but I enjoy them a lot. I played the Clarinet when I was in High School, draw from time to time, and I enjoy writing though it's mostly through roleplaying. I also like things like plays and such, though I've never been an actress myself nor do I ever really want to be a part of one. Also I enjoy doing other creative things but I have to be in the mood for it? Drawing being a big example as I would draw a lot for a while and then go for a while without drawing anything. Which is why while I have grown a lot since I've started I haven't grown as much as I could have. But I still enjoy it which is what matters in the end, I suppose.
