Rent is too high my area because it does not equate to average earning wages around here at all.

rent is fairly cheap here, you can get a decent one bedroom flat for like £250 per month.

Here you can get subsidized rent (The govt pays some for you) but it's usually in a dangerous area of town.

My experience with rent the past few years:

>One time landlord wants to raise the rent up $300 more than what we were paying, when my family and I lived in the area less than a year
>With another place a car crashed onto our home, then the landlord wants to raise rent on us. We were like NOPE and we moved out
