Roll once. The country you recieve, you must live on. How do you feel about the result?

    I got Burkina Faso.

I had no idea what this place was (Besides being in Africa), so I did a quick search. Uhhhhhh here's the first images. I think I lost.

    I got Iraq :(
I've been hearing a lot about this country in the news since my childhood. I lost too ^^"

Rolled The Turks and Caicos Islands.

Speaks English there. Considers that a large plus. Stays within reasonable temperatures (rarely above 33 degrees Celsius / 91 degrees Fahrenheit in summer and rarely below 18 degrees Celsius / 64 degrees Fahrenheit in winter).

Thrives on tourism. Wants nothing to do with that. May be very expensive to live there too. Is also a collection of islands, per the name. Already rejected the island home in the other thread.

Seems like a decent place (especially given the options above). Feels fairly neutral on it, regardless. (Point of reference: Cannot think of any location to be excited about.) Would not reroll, if given the choice.

Presumes other people would be thrilled. Stands a fair chance of being a top result in this thread.

Wow you all got very interesting countries. Let's see what I get...

    Benin!

Population just slightly larger than Sweden's. Most people there farm to sustain themselves for a living. So... cozy tropical place?

I got Estonia and I don't know much about this country and all I know about it is that it is in Europe.

I got Latvia. From what I know, Latvia ranks really well for things like economy, human rights/freedoms and living standards and is over all a pretty great place to live (even if it had a rough start historically). That being said, there's some issues too. I'd have to learn Latvian because English isn't a primary language there and isn't really used outside of business and tourism. I'd be able to get by on English short term, but long term it'd be an issue. It's also too cold for my liking there and uncomfortably close to Russia.

It's definitely one of the better places to roll all around, but it's not without its problems.

It's probably a nice place! Just... riddled with natural disasters... ;; poor haitians.

I thought this too, then I looked it up and it says:

"There is a high level of crime in Haiti. Some areas are worse than others, but there is a very real danger of violent crime everywhere in Haiti, and this includes assault, armed robbery, murder, kidnapping, and rape. ... Other violent crimes including carjackings and robberies, carried out mostly by armed criminal gangs".

    Yikes, no thanks.

Like Rekoil I assumed the country it opens on doesn't count. I thought I was viewing someone else's results and didn't pay attention, and just rolled.

I got the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis. I have never travelled here before, or visited any country in the West Indies actually, but I just googled some photos of the locale, and the accomodations don't look bad at all.

It's essentially an island resort. lots of beaches, spas and musical festivals. I will survive.

Well.. I had taken the country that came up, haha. But I'll roll again then! I got this time: Bulgaria!

Bulgaria is a country that's losing people rather fast. Birth rates are low and people move away for better opportunities ever since they became part of the EU and freedom of movement and work was a thing.

But the nature is apparently stunning! They have beaches towards the Black Sea, they have ski resorts, fields, forests, mountains, omg it really looks utterly super beautiful. And drinks are cheap hehehe. There's wineries and stuff.

Maybe I'll retire in Bulgaria <3

I got Monaco. While a nice place and has no property taxes, it is way more expensive than I can afford. Average annual household income is about $186k USD, and average monthly rent is about $3500. Assuming my salary stayed the same, I'd be living off of $500/month at that average rent price. Not exactly a reasonable amount to live on in a country as generally expensive as Monaco.
