Things often get labelled weirdly.
Like here in the supermarket the Wok Vegetables are considered 'Japanese style' simply for having mushrooms in them, or 'Thai style' simply for having peppers in them @_@

They also often like to change things for convenience. Most of the basic sushi they sell in our stores are also just simple stuff that has paprica or tuna in them but at least looks the way.
