Seeing the notice at work that a seafood style food truck is arriving today. I didn't pack lunch because I was rushing and I'm excited for it.

Honestly I feel like I've been in a much better mood since yesterday. Partly from the Pokémon Presents stream from yesterday morning, partly because I haven't had any assignments due this week aside from Tuesday. I feel like I have a lot more free time and it's a good feeling.

I've recently reconnected with an old pal of mine. And despite how long it has been, I later realized that we had inadvertently returned to the closeness and frequency we used to partake in before we parted ways.

It was kind of yesterday, just barely past midnight today, but I caught a shiny Lapras that came with the Intellectual Mark. Which confers 'the Scholar' as a title.

The mental image of a Scholar Lapras gave me a chuckle and made me smile. And then I thought about how it kept spamming Perish Song and couldn't help but wonder if it didn't happen to study some more darker texts....

I just found out that the ToHeart visual novel remake is officially getting an English translation! I've been a fan of the anime adaptation for years, and this summer, I'll finally get a chance to play the game that inspired it!

I've been getting back into playing osu more recently because I found out that osu lazer is a thing, it's essentially just a newer beta version of the game that's supposed to be more modern and offer more features. It looks pretty cool and plays well and all that, but the big thing for me was finding a mod in-game to force beatmaps for songs to play at a constant speed, since sometimes harder maps will just suddenly and abruptly slow down or speed up drastically and it always felt like an unfair trick to make you mess up.
I've wanted this to be an option for years and whenever I've looked up solutions for it I've just seen things like social media or forum posts by people saying "If you don't like it then you're bad at the game, the solution is just to get good" and it feels incredibly validating to see the option for it included in-game by the developers, and even more so that I can still hit leaderboard scores with a 10% score penalty that option turned on. I assume lazer has a separate leaderboard and it's much smaller due to being in beta, but reaching #2 and #3 in a couple songs is still something I feel proud of.
