Probably human. Would not be keen on being out in the wild as a Pokemon. Easily becomes prey. Distrusts the whims of some random Pokemon trainer. Passes on battling. Who knows if they are a good Pokemon owner too? Might get chained to a building and left outside in the cold.
Kind of depends on the timeframe, it would be safer to be a human in current times, but it seemed like being human in hisui was as dangerous as being a pokemon, if not even more since you can only scape. So, in current times I would rather be human, in hisui I would rather be one of the starters that stay in the lab. I was going to say Hisuian Zorua, but considering the origin of the regional form, it's probably a bad idea.
Being a Pokemon (or some kinds of Pokemon anyway, would hopefully be able to choose) would be cool, but since the Pokemon world isn't complete shit like the real world, being human would be fine too.
In my case, being turned into a pokemon inevitably means getting myself split into two different ones, so no thanks to that? May I remind you that while I am starting to gain control of these dissociative aspects of myself, they still exist and are likely to keep existing as a remnant of an old life.
Honestly, there's no way I could explain what would probably happen to me during the process of turning into a pokemon other than asking this.
Spoiler: Possible spoilers for a game series
Have you ever heard of Project Moon verse of games? If you have, now imagine the process of how distortions are born. That is what would happen to me, and unlike with Heathcliff, the process would be wholly irreversible and damaging to the person undergoing it since you know, two beings formed from a single one.
as much as i love pokemon.... i think i'd stay as a human...
i don't like fighting... & i can't handle walking or running for a extremely long time...
my pika-sona, lot is living that life in the pmd world for me even though she's kinda the same with the fighting & walking & running....
Pokemon for sure, maybe I have too little regard for my current life but even the type of Pokemon hardly makes a difference to me, I always wanted to; I'm surprised to see it be an uncommon answer ^^;
I think I'd prefer being a human that gets to train and create relationships with Pokemon. I can befriend and gain the trust of several Pokemon, and then as their trainer use them in the way I probably would if I were a singular Pokemon anyways (surfing, flying, diving, etc.)
