Another revived thread. Basically, imagine your favourite and least favourite mon fighting each other, who would win? You can do it in general, or by generations. I'll do mine by generations, except for 8 for now.

Nidoking vs Voltorb: Yeah I think this one is obvious.

Crobat vs Pichu: Even with type disadvantage this one is obvious.

Aggron vs Banette: The former has more attack than the latter has defence, so yeah.

Magnezone vs Staravia: Yeah, this is one sided.

Chandelure vs Mienshao: The former can learn Psychic, so yep.

Greninja vs Klefki: Even with type disadvantage this should be obvious.

Araquanid vs Brionne: The former resists and can hit back neutral damage with the other STAB, so yep.

idgaf what anyone else says, Meloetta would obliterate Lucario.

Bastiodon might not be so lucky though...

Pikachu and Raichu can totally deal with Watchog, although Alolan Raichu would have to watch out for Crunch.

You know what, I'm gonna do my generational favs against my generational least favs as well.

Pikachu/Raichu vs Magikarp: this one's obvious.

Feraligatr vs Stantler: Feraligatr can do this.

Salamence vs Luvdisc: most likely Salamence.

Garchomp vs Burmy: no matter how many times Burmy uses Protect, Garchomp will win in the end.

Volcarona vs Watchog: gotta hand it to Volcarona here.

Greninja vs Binacle: Greninja, without a doubt.

Incineroar vs Brionne: if Incineroar has Thunderpunch, it can win.

Corviknight vs Greedent: Corviknight can do this.

favorite... hmm, probably flareon or mareep? or wooloo? i can't decide ;_; ngl though it's harder to decide on a least favorite pokémon because there are none I really dislike, but I suppose if I had to pick, probably carkol? it looks so derpy and weird with its mouth open... and also coalossal cause it looks like a poorly-designed rhydon lol. in that case, it would (very sadly) probably win the battle against my favorites since 2/3 are weak and unevolved, and flareon is a fire type with little coverage against coalossal, which is rock/fire.

oh wait... dig may work! 4x weakness! :O so perhaps flareon has a chance if coalossal won't get any rock moves off!

Hard to pick and Pokémon I *really* hate, hm... But Sylveon vs. Swoobat is an easy win for Sylveon.

Swoobat doesn't learn any Poison (unless you could Venom Drench TR which lol) or Steel moves, its total base stats are utter garbage (iirc it's 420?), and its best STAB move, Psychic, wouldn't even make Sylveon flinch. Sylveon on the other hand can tank any of Swoobat's special attacks with its massive Special Defense, and can at least learn the Shadow Ball TR.

And if that doesn't work, Sylveon can just faze the hell out of Swoobat with Toxic/Protect/Wish/Moonblast.

    Lucario vs Bronzong
I'm pretty sure Lucario wins - it has much more tools to deal with Bronzong than what Bronzong has to deal with Lucario.

    Tepig versus mewtwo

you know this is pretty tough like I have no idea who would win

tepig wins cus he's sooooo much better

Vensaur versus Lucario ! Depends on moveset, right? Earthquake versus Ice Punch/ Fire Punch. That kind of stuff. You tell me.

    alolan dugtrio would demolish pikachu
