My favorite has always been English which I don't think is that uncommon. BUT ONLY A CERTAIN ONE. Not the super rough pikey or chav or as I imagine English farmer one, just a normal one or the fancy posh one yaya.
I really don't know why I like it I just do. Which is actually a miracle because I find most accents besides my own to be really irritating. Probably because growing up a lot of my family came from different parts of Europe and so they pretty much all have pretty bad accents.
I like Irish accents best. Not sure if it's all Irish accents though because I haven't heard that many, just enough to appreciate them. Close after that is Australian though.
Hahah Accents something Diablo can do. I say I have a small Australian accent cos I'm Aussie but I don't think I notice. I love American accents though on females I say it is the cutest.
I can do many accent impersonations I can make a very heavy Australian accent, British accent, Indian accent and a Scottish accent. Yeah... lmao.
The welsh accents one of my favourites <3 It just makes me melt. I also like how people from Liverpool talk but that's mainly because I find it hilarious when they get angry and start shouting with it!
Anyway; Irish and Australian. I just love them. ;; I've never really had a reason why I just do. I find Scottish accents cute, I can't understand a word, but they're cute.
American accents I can find nice. It depends on where they're from though.
I love British accents, it's really cool-sounding imho. <3
Russian accents I've gotten a bit tired of on the other hand, since where I live there are a lot of Russians, haha. Myself included. n_n; (though thankfully I have no accent here in NY since I sound like any regular old American)
It's... a tie between British and Australian. Whenever I hear either one of these accents I get so fascinated in hearing them. Oftentimes I wish I had an accent like that. :P
I love German Accents~ British accents are also nice.. but depends on where they are from. Don't like cockney accents, or accents from way up north where they'd say "buuk" for "book" and such.
I agree with Kura, German and British accents are absolutely wonderful. I have one specific German friend and I could listen to her struggle through her english on skype all day-- it is really THE most charming thing I have ever heard!
I really like British accents myself, although it can be a bit hard for me to understand at times. xD However, closer to home, I kinda like Canadian accents and northern US accents, especially Michigan. For most of my sophomore year in high school, I picked a Michigan accent somewhat from one of my friends, lol.
I love the concept of a British accent, I'm fairly sure the common perception of a British accent hardly exists outside of the royal family, I figure it's the same with a lot of countries though.
I like the stererotypical Australian accent, obviously I'd have no idea on their variations.
I love Australian accents! I don't know why they appeal to me so much, but they just do. XD I used to think I was a bit Australian because I thought I was able to do the accent. :x
I like American accents! :D
But I like British accents more. Sorry. XD;
I also love to laugh at the stronger Australian accents. My English teacher is White Australian and he's from the country. He has the funniest accent and it's even better when he uses words which bring it out more. XD
Okay for me it does depend on the voice. A lot. But I do like Geordie, Mancunian, Northumbrian, South Welsh, Bristolian, Glaswegian, and Yorkshire.
I suppose American accents tend not to appeal to me because they're normal for me and they actually sound fairly similar most of the time. And if they're not then I kind of find them annoying? idk
And um yeah I don't actually hear many accents besides British/Irish/American? And even with American accents I don't hear much beyond Midwestern accents. So I'm sure there are other accents I'd like if I heard them more.
edit: fdghjk I just got done watching John Bishop's Britain and I forgot that I really like Scouse as well. xD;
