    That Espurr one is still the creepiest thing.

    I'm going to be single on Valentine's Day. Not only am I working that day, all the things related to Valentine's Day is stuff I don't like. I'm allergic to chocolate, I can't bring flowers home, cards seem like a waste of money, and the restaurants are too busy to go out and really enjoy the meal.
     
    Hm.

    Well, it would be nice to celebrate something. Perhaps for my significant other and I to look at all the years we've been together, and think of the past. Then think about how things will progress moving forward. It's as close a time as ever to our "anniversary" (which is really hard to pin down, by the way) I will have a talk with him, and we will see what we can do around his odd work schedule. Honestly, our options in this place are limited, but I do think it would be an appropriate time to reflect.

    As for those Valentine's Day cards, I have to say the Espurr one's my favorite. It is so off-beat and weird rather than the cheesiness of the others.

    Screw valentines, everyone celebrate my birthday on the 13th.
     
    As long as I dont check social media and stay at home, Valentines day will be all good :)

    I've already had to try to proudly say that I'm not doing anything for it to several people....It ain't easy :/

    Valentines Day will be a long and arduos day for me, specifically because I am single, want to stay single, and am expecting a very persistant suitor to literally fly over the pacific ocean to see me, determined to make sure I am not single by the end of the day. (And undoubtedly confess to me at the end of the day for the third time despite having been rejected two times already.)

    Thankfully my best guy friend has agreed to be my "boyfriend" for the week that the guy is here, so hopefully that will discourage him since it seems like no other methods work. It will be a very, very interesting day to say the least....
     
    That's not just a potential suitor. That's approaching the real life stalker territory to cross oceans for the third time just to follow you like that... You may want to consider more drastic and serious actions than asking a friend to pretend to be taken already. :(
     
    I may have a date? I'm not sure.
