    Do you feel like you don't fit in with everyone around you? Be it family, classmates, work colleagues, anybody. we're here to listen to you so don't be shy, we are all on a pokemon forum after all

    If you aren't a social outcast tell us how you are so SUCCESSFUL with your normal person swag and plethora of friends
     
    No but I think there are many social outcasts here.

    I'm a little socially awkward. I'm not really sure what I do though. But I can make friends pretty easily and a lot of people tend to like me. I can't think of anyone offline who dislikes me. I'm pretty easy to get along with and compatible with different types of people.
     
    Jesus, no. I mean, I had an okay school experience, because I am outspoken and wasn't afraid to say something ridiculous out loud. But I cannot make friends worth a damn. I can only charm people on a one-on-one encounter and even that has odds stacked against me for being a bit too eccentric. I probably repulse more people than I attract. ;-; I'm just lucky to have met the one person who appreciates it the most, and that's because he is just as bad as I am. If not worse. ヽ(´ー｀)ノ

    Society doesn't boot you out and neither does it accept you; you have to choose whether to participate or not

    ^ pretty much exactly that.

    My friends will always want to hang out with me one on one. However once there is a group of friends involved, I'm never invited. Mostly because I never met their group of friends and they don't want to make things awkward for me.
     
    I'm a huge solitary, yet I must say my feelings are mixed... One day I feel I could fit in everywhere and won't even think about it, second day I don't want to have anybody near around me. It's weird I know :P
    I don't feel awkward around friends and my work colleagues. Mostly I feel awkward around people I just don't know and family members that I see very rarely.
     
    I'm an outcast to where I don't see many people after work unless I end up going into town for business. I feel like I've gotten used to it over the years but I can't help but feel a little lonely sometimes.
     
    well, I wouldn't say I fit in, but no one really dislikes me and if they do they can eat my dick. I have plenty of friends that span across many a clique. I'm somewhat awkward, but I'm way better than I used to be. overall I'm functional.

    Anyway, I'm a huge social outcast. I struggle with interacting to others, but it's mostly because of my autism spectrum disorder as well. I've always had trouble socializing with people and making friends. When I was younger, I was bullied for being different. I never fit in with anyone, so I was lucky to have one friend over none at all.
     
    In my 15 years of existence, I have come to the conclusion that I do not fit in. However, that doesn't mean that I lack social interaction. I have a plethora of friends, and I am content with my lifestyle.
     
    I'm like a line piece. Takes a lot of work to fit in PERFECTLY AND BEAUTIFULLY but it's not like there's many situations where I won't at least fit somewhat well! On the whole you can put me anywhere and as a fellow human I can strike a chord with people. 8D

    of course in situations where you're not using me to clear 4 lines I'm going to be like "oh well look at you using your line piece wastefully" and I will be DISPLEASED. even if I do fit somehow.

    (if none of you have played tetris I have no respect for you just sayin')
     
    I used to think that and I think that lead to me out casting myself from other people automatically instead of trying to be friends with them. I've come to realize there are actually lots of people I fit in with. Especially after you graduate high school (whatever equivalent) people finally become themselves and for the most part are enjoyable. If you jam into your head that you're a social outcast then yes you will probably become one.
     
    No, I don't consider myself a social outcast at all. Several people have told me that I'm a people's person, and that I get along with more or less everyone, which I suppose is the truth. I still consider myself to be my own person, though.

    I am kind of the same really not an outcast but I make myself one for some reason.
     
    I think I fit in pretty well. I never had any problems making friends at school (albeit, looking back, my choice of friends wasn't the best), I get along with my work colleagues and my current friendship group, I socialise often enough.

    Family is a mixed bag, however. There are some members of my family i'd really rather not try and socialise with, and I know some family members aren't particularly fond of me, but hey-ho.

    I have been told i'm a difficult person to read at times, and that my dry sense of humour isn't to everyone's tastes, but otherwise I can socialise just dandy.
     
    Ehhh....I'm sort of the outcasts of the outcasts. I speak to people, but I don't relate to anyone, so I usually not the one to befreind them. So I mostly just sit in a corner, talk to my 5 or so friends, and be happy about it. Besides, I think the fewer the people, the more you know them.
