been on and off but want to be more active here

local friendly user here how y'all doing?

Still busy working on the story I'm writing. I'm nearing the end of a section I've been working on for awhile. And 13 or 12 days left in the Star Wars: The Old Republic Galactic Seasons event, so I'm going to be glad te see that end. How's everyone else doing?

    [PokeCommunity.com] how is everyone?

    Nice to see you!

I'd say I'm doing pretty well, besides nursing some mosquito bites I got a couple days ago. Weather is warm and pleasant, no real short-term issues causing stress, and I'm looking forward to a vacation home tomorrow to visit my family. There are still things I'm working through long-term but June and July have mostly been a pretty good few weeks for me. I'm sort of in that situation where I'm sitting here planning for what I want to do and spend my time on once I return from my vacation, because I've had some games I've been meaning to play and a new idea for a blog article I've wanted to start on, so it's more like, "what do I want to do first, how do I want to approach this, I'm excited to this but not that", and it's really pleasant! No boredom in sight.

Starting to get a little more stressed since I have some major things coming up, like moving out of the country in early September and in-laws visiting in a couple of days. Lots of cleaning and prepping to do for everything. T_T

Spent pretty much all of Tuesday at the hospital with my family because my grandmother was in there (and had been in there for several days) with a terminal illness- something to do with failed lungs- and we had to decide what to do, or rather, my aunt had to, and the rest of us were all there for support. My family's real complex: my mum's original mother committed suicide when she and her two younger brothers were kids, and my grandfather remarried my grandmother and had two kids- my uncle (who died years ago of cancer) and my aunt- so my aunt was the only biological child alive (although we're all really a family, never mind biology). My grandmother had left instructions that if she had something like this and all that could be done was keeping her breathing and alive but that's it, that she didn't want to be kept like that. After they had taken her off the life-support things and just had things for comfort, at around 7 PM she died. She was the last grandparent I had, but she was in her 80's and had lived a good long life, and isn't suffering now. It was still real tough for my aunt, though. She and her husband had been helping look after her when she needed help with things, and my grandmother was a bit of a drama queen sometimes, which naturally created some stress on my aunt, but regardless of that she really loved her and I ken misses her. These things can be tough.

    On another note:
I'm eager to start Driver's Ed. Two weeks away. The hours are consuming and it's difficult to plan anything else until it's over.

Also I want the freedom of a full unrestricted licence.

Just don't drive your teacher to this point:
    (...For both your sakes!)

I am very sorry for your loss... I hope your grandmother rests in peace.

I think I have an ear infection.

As someone who's gone through a very bad one of those, I really hope it's not what you have, and if it is, I really hope it clears up quickly!

I'm doing well, things could be better but they could be worse as well. Nothing particularly eventful has been going on recently in my life apart from the GT, although I'm starting 12th grade in about 2 weeks. Luckily I should be able to leave early due to taking dual enrollment courses and doing stuff over the summer; which will hopefully keep things less stressful then they were last year.

That was me a week ago today, exactly. Right now I'm sitting in a local clinic close to work for a first check up since receiving meds.

    How am I doing? I don't know. I genuinely don't. Normal, I guess.

Tomorrow's Thursday, I write on Thursday.
