8. Did you catch any Pokemon from the Safari Zone in your first playthrough?

Yes I did catch some Pokemon, but didn't use any of them on my team at the time. I did however go back so I could get a Pidgeotto, Kakuna and Buneary after getting the National Dex.

I don't think I ever visited the Safari Zone :X I just never got around to it honestly.
 
7. What was the first Pokemon you
Mega Evolved in the game?
I'm pretty sure it was Sceptile my starter, but it could have been Latias.

No, I don't think I did. After finding out that it was free I didn't feel like I needed to catch something to make it worthwhile.I could always just come back again for free.
 
6. Where did you establish your first ever Secret Base? I think it was where Aurune first pointed out that we can make secret bases.
7. What was the first Pokemon you Mega Evolved in the game? Latios of course.
8. Did you catch any Pokemon from the Safari Zone in your first playthrough? I did, I think one of them was Xatu.

Nope, have not visited the Safari Zone since release day, even to this day, it has not caught my attention.
 
8. Did you catch any Pokemon from the Safari Zone in your first playthrough?: I caught all of the available Safari Zone Pokemon sans Pinsir, Pidgeotto, Buneary, Kakuna, and Heracross (which I traded over from X/Y) before moving on with the main story.

No, I don't think so. I'm always too excited to do the Mt. Pyre events to stop off at the Hoenn safari zone. :)

I went there once I got to Lilycove, but only explored around a bit; the plan is to get both bikes whenever I pick up OR again, and go on a catching frenzy while having access to all areas

I might have, I don't remember if I did or not. But my team didn't consist of any. My second go (first of Alpha Sapphire), however, had me catching a Heracross in the Safari Zone with the DexNav and using it on my team.

Yes I did! arrived on my doorstep the day it came out

2. What was your reason for choosing OR or AS over the other?
I've owned both originals and own both remakes, but i got AS first because i have played through sapphire first and played the most out of it so i had to get AS before OR.

3. What did you nickname your starter?
Surprisingly yes. I don't usually do that for my first playthrough but I did

4. Did you do the Pokemon Contest when you first got to Slateport?
Yes, but I only did it twice, then I moved on.

5. Which bike did you choose when you first got to Mauville?
Mach bike. It was most useful to me at the time. Now I have both

6. Where did you establish your first ever Secret Base?
The Secret Meadow south west of Sootopolis

7. What was the first Pokemon you Mega Evolved in the game?
It was Latias sadly. :( I wanted it to be my starter but was too tempted to try her out.

8. Did you catch any Pokemon from the Safari Zone in your first playthrough?
Yes, as to witch one(s) i don't remember. now im just shiny hunting in there.

I actually never bothered to visit the safari zone anyway since it has change greatly
