whoa a stranger in the midst

my job is mostly ok, except the people i work with make it unbearable sometimes lol
supervisor has yelled at me once so loudly in front of students before i had to run to the bathroom to hide and calm down, though that was a year+ ago.... nowadays she is a lot nicer but still way too social and doesn't stop talking. exhausting to have someone ask you what you're eating, how it is, where you got it etc every time you sit at your desk for lunch

last day is april 10th though!!

I've really only been yelled at by my boss once, and it was a misunderstanding on her part. She yelled at me because she had texted me frantically hoping that I was at work with everything open (which I was) and I had told her I never got her text. She calmed down after I had shown her that my phone didn't receive a text....and it literally showed up seconds after I opened my phone.

I will say I was bad and didn't always answer her texts when she was running late, but since that day I have always responded to her texts especially to assure her I was present.

I liked the people at my work a lot more about a year and a half ago. It's not that the newer colleagues are bad people, it's just that they're less professional than who they replaced and are pretty much the stereotype of 'expat who uses every second of free time to go drinking'. There's still a couple of people in my work I can happily socialise with and I'm leaving in 4 months anyway, at the same time as other people that actually try to act professional, so god knows what the work environment will be like after the summer holiday. Not my problem though!

Maybe my boss should stop hiring people from a bar or on the beach!

I'm so sick of my job being short handed. It seems like we lose a person just as we replace the last person to leave.
