Looking at a map of Turkey, more specifically a map from the classical world of Anatolia, which is modern day Turkey.

I am writing a story where Amazons warriors appear. Everybody who knows me that I can't get enough ancient history and mythology. According to Greek myth the Amazon women lived in an area called Themiskyra, which would be in northeastern Anatolia on the southern coast of the Black Sea. So I'm trying to find some nice strategic locations for my Amazon units to raid from their position!

Drying the blood off of my ring finger. I broke a nail this morning. I naturally have sturdy fingernails that can grow very long, but they also can snag on things when they really start to grow out, and peel some skin off with it if they snap suddenly T_T
