What made you smile/happy today?

My new dog tried to follow me to my car because she didn't want me to leave. Glad to see she's taken to me so quickly.
 
After being forced to quit from my last 3 jobs I got a call for another job after being unemployed for two months. Here's to hoping this one will work out.
 
Realizing that I'm actually a lot more sensible than certain individuals and better off not sinking to their immaturity :) It's was a relief.
 
Downloading the expansion pack in Sword and all I got were two codes for a Pikachu outfit and Eevee outfit, but just seeing the eshop again made me smile. The school psychologist is a huge Nintendo nerd, so he sometimes hooks up my Switch to the school servers. And my mom bought me a $35 Nintendo eshop card last night so you knew where that went, also made me smile.
 
I got offered a job I didn't think I was going to get and I'm super happy! I was worried I came off as too nervous in the interview but it turned out OK in the end. Was a very happy surprise as I was having a rough day today outside of that. :D
 
As for me! I visited a friend who finished a very tough project in University. As we were walking back to her place we walked towards someone who was training a BABY HUSKY who was a therapy dog in training. Long story short we got to play with said doggo.

As someone who actually had a chance to interview candidates I can surely tell you the thing I do not look for is how nervous the person is. Feeling nervous is very common among potential candidates. I look for the actual quality of the answers given to me. Some are nervous brief, some are a nervous rambler, it's the actual relevant material that I look for :). Plus I often lighten the mood with a bad dad joke or something. Also congrats on the job offer!
 
They're making a Beast Wars movie.

Even if it's live action, and Transformers movies are awful, and so much can go wrong (like not having David Kaye voice Megatron) I am SO EXCITED BY THIS. Beast Wars IS Transformers to me. It's one of those cases where the spinoff is infinitely superior to the mainline franchise, and I have wanted more Beast Wars, or a remake with better CGI, or SOMETHING, since it ended. Something good, not crap like Beast Machines. I didn't realise how much I needed this until now.
