When you sleep...

Back or on my left side. I sometimes sleep in a starfish-like formation. I don't find sleeping on my stomach very comfortable at all, for reasons you can probably assume.

I'm a total side sleeper. I can't get comfortable in any other way -- left or right side, I'm luckily not too picky about that. Sometimes I'm curled up and other times my legs are stretched, but I have to be cuddling a pillow or something. Can't sleep without my Pikachu pillow ; 3;

My fiancee, on the other hand, is a stomach sleeper. Which makes it fun for me as a side sleeper to cuddle up halfway onto his back, but I seriously don't know how or why he enjoys sleeping on his stomach. And I usually find him with one socked foot sticking out of the covers.

I sleep mostly on my back or my right side, perhaps 70% and 30% of the time respectively. Sometimes I feel better on my left side, but I can't for the life of me fall asleep; either I feel like my heart is thundering, or my leg or arm goes numb or aches. I just can't do left side.

However, whatever position I fall asleep in, is the exact same I'll wake up in. I apparently don't move at all while asleep haah.

to the point that I have torn apart several pillows.
holy guacamole, dude. strong?

On my stomach.

If I sleep on my side it must be towards the wall. Started as a child where I thought if I slept facing a closet or open space I would awaken in the middle of the night and be looking at a monster. So it's something I still do.

They're just pillows and not super amazing ones.
I like that this is what you comment on and not the alarming part where I tend to tear things apart in my sleep.
The tearing things apart bit was exactly what I commented on d:

I have to sleep on my side or I get either painful gas or heartburn

I try to fall asleep on my back because if I sleep on my side, I wake up all curled in and then my body is sore all day! I also only sleep on my left side if I have to—it comes from feeling more secure by facing the wall near my bed ever since I was little, haha.

I'm not a messy sleeper anymore but as a child, I'd wake up anywhere BUT my bed.

On my side. I remember when I was a little kid, a doctor had told my late grandmother to sleep on her right side because it was better for her heart, and that stuck with me. Admittedly, it's much more comfortable on my left side, but either side is SO much better than sleeping on my back. I get really bad chest pain when I sleep on my back, to the point where it actually forces me back awake in the morning if I accidentally doze off instead of get up.

I usually fall asleep by curling up on my right side, but I tend to wake up lying on my back. For some reason trying to sleep on my left side always makes my stomach hurt, idk why.
