who is your favorite champion?

Cynthia. And it's ride and die for me.

First female Champion with the best intro and battle theme to boot? Along with a Garchomp that will mess you up if you're not careful? Sign me right up.

Hands down Steven. He's been my favorite pokemon character for years.

Lance. He has red hair. What more is there to say? Also, have you seen him in the anime? Pretending to be a member of the evil team to get information? Cool.

This is a real tough question, and I've got three main contenders! I always loved Blue as a champion, just the fact that he's one step ahead of you until the very end, it's like one final kick in the face before you get to take him down for good. But, simply because he never gets his character developed as a champion, I'm gonna go with Cynthia! She's got such a dangerous team, and her character really gets developed throughout Gen IV, and she's made further appearances in other games as well, along with some great cameos in the anime :)

It varies depending on which game I'm playing tbh. For example I'm in my first Black save since 2014 and really enjoying it, with HeartGold being the game I just finished.
I started out with Emerald, but Wallace just doesn't play much of a role and is somewhat diminished in my eyes by having already faced his apprentice as a gym leader. Steven is cool, but he's not a Champion to me. Wallace's Milotic was a beast though. Cynthia using both Wallace (MIlotic) and Riley's (Lucario) mascot Pokémon also made her seem a little less cool.
I found it a great twist that Blue was the Champion. With no reference to anyone beyond the Elite Four throughout LeafGreen I thought perhaps the originals didn't have one, so to beat Lance, whose Dragons certainly seemed like the apex of the game given their rarity, resistances, and power, only to find that my rival was waiting was pretty cool. The character was pretty meh though. Lance is really cool, Dragonite is one of my all time favourite Pokémon, but I think I prefer the villain / antihero in the manga to the games version.
So I actually think Alder is my favourite! The post may seem chaotic as I didn't realise it as I was typing it out, but I really like that he's shown to be vulnerable within the storyline, laying it all on the line against N but losing, rather than the most powerful trainer in the region refusing to help you battle the evil team "because reasons".
Honorary shout out to Red - boy has no charisma, but you've got to admire the commitment of funding the construction of his own Pokémon Center so he doesn't have to stray far from his mountain. The battle theme he shares with Lance is possibly my favourite in the games I've played (Gen III-V) too.

Cynthia!

[PokeCommunity.com] who is your favorite champion?

Not only does she have an alluring design, she also has a wonderfully powerful team with Garchomp as her ace. I don't think any other champion even comes close to matching her immense strength and prestige. I love her appearances in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum as well as her involvement in the anime. She is deeply interested in Sinnoh's mythology and is portrayed as intelligent, mysterious, gracious, wise, and considerate. Overall, Cynthia is an incredibly well-rounded and esteemed champion and thus, she is my favourite!

Steven Stone all the way. Besides having my favorite pseudo-legendary (Metagross) and my favorite fossil (Cradily), I think his sandstorm-based team is absolutely awesome, and he's just a really slick and cool guy.

It's been between Steven and Cynthia for years. But my gripe with Steven is that they push him to be a steel type specialist, but then half his team isn't steel type. Even at the Pokemon World Tournament half his team aren't steel types. Though I'll say his other team members still fit his overall style.

Cynthia is my favorite, I really enjoyed her character and her battle was one of my most favorites.

Cynthia for sure! Love her whole #bossbabe thing. Followed closely behind by Lance. :)
