Why am I up so late?

I'm someone with an awkward sleeping pattern so there are times I stay up later than I think or sleep in later than I should. I did however have a very big sleep last night though.

I'm usually drawing, reading, watching shows, listening to music, or going through social media. Sometimes I'll be gaming, but that's not very often.

I go to bed around 10:30-12:00 though it usually end up in me waking up at 3-5 in the morning. Though I usually go straight back to sleep, a lot of the time I'll decide to check my phone for a 'couple of minutes' which then turns into a few hours. oops :(

Homework, usually, or if I'm talking to someone online that I haven't talked to in a while.

perfect timing! it's like 3 am rn haha. i can't sleep without pills, and i haven't taken them yet. uhh i probably should soon. |D;

whenever i'm browsing PC past 2 am it's either because i'm stressed out or because i haven't taken my meds.

My sleep schedule is messed up! I tend to stay up until 5 AM browsing and chatting with friends online (curse timezones!) or just doing work. I prefer doing things late at night, probably because it's quieter or something. When I wake up late I always feel guilty though.

Unfortunately, classes are starting soon and I have to get up early again. :'(

Within last few months, I have been going to bed very early (or was at least trying), as my shift starts at five in the morning; if I don't happen to get enough rest, morning-time winds up to be sort of tough for me to get through.

If it's my day off, I'll usually hit bed around 11pm, spending most of my time catching up with TV shows, browsing the forum, and so forth before doing so.

I sleep around 12:30AM nowadays and wake up from 8-10AM. If I have work I'd be up at around 7AM to be there by 9.. gah, waking early is terrible. When I have to be up early I realize how much I was taking sleeping in for granted. zzzzz

Forum-wise I browse PC pretty much all the time when I'm home and can come online up until bedtime. Always something to look through or threads to reply to, gosh darn this place is addicting.

No matter what I do, I always end up going to bed at 2-2:30 am. It's either my body is still stuck in Pacific time (because 2 am central is 12 am pacific, and I always had gone to bed at around 12 am), or I just love being a night owl.

I always find time to stick a nap in there though.

its 6:05 in the morning and im awake and it sucks. working graveyard has put me in this awful cycle.

Why is it that mornings are always the hardest to get through? ;-; I get to work at about 8 after spending 1.5 hours commuting, then anxiously wait for noon to hit and then the countdown until 3:30 begins. Heck, at the time I wake up I start counting down the hours until I leave work.

Nothing feels worse than waking up in the afternoon and feeling like you've missed the entire day, practically.

So it seems lately the only reason I'll stay up past my bed time is to talk to my soon-to-be girlfriend (things are complicated).

Otherwise, I'm in bed well before everyone else in my house.
Then I'm up early in the morning to go to the gym.
Then when I'm done, I go back to bed.

Staying up late is kind of like my life in college. I'm a night owl so I study better at night. I try not to sleep so late though, lest I end up being a zombie in class ;~;

I'm now into a routine where I stay up late even though I try to force myself to sleep earlier, and then wake up around midday. When I was working last year, I was up early in the morning and slept at a fairly reasonable time.

Well, ever since I've switched my schedule to the night class. I've grown accustomed to sleeping at 4 AM since my classes start at the afternoon. I just watch T.V., make midnight snacks and hang out at the showdown server. On my usual shenanigans, I get my guitar and write songs for snits and giggles. It's just basically me, myself and I time.

I usually go to bed at 2-3 A.M. I just like how quiet it is at night and I enjoy being in the dark watching anime or something. Although to balance it out I have to take a 2-4 hour nap a day so that's a downside.

I've realized that afternoon and night classes never worked for me, I only persuaded myself into changing my schedule just to accommodate being able to sleep in later, but then I felt that most of the day was wasted that way. So I'd much prefer morning classes now and then get the afternoon/night to do whatever.

Haha. I know that feeling. Finish class and party later. Basic formula of any college student tbh haha. The only problem with me in morning classes is I have to wake up early which I rarely do btw. I've been a nocturnal fellow since my inception into college. So for me, personally, the night ain't that bad.
