Your April Fool's Day

For the most part it was just a regular work day. Maybe it's the pandemic that makes people less willing to pull a prank? I liked some of the pranks on PC; just the avatar replacement kinda grew tiring at some point, but you could turn it of, anyway, so that's not a real issue. Watching videos on Youtube, I actually only watched one of the April fools videos and it was very clear what it was right from the beginning.

I done what I do every year on April 1st... stayed miles away from the majority of websites!

My partner fell for a couple, and excitedly told me the news, then realised the date from my expression 😅

Rinse and repeat an hour later 🤣🤣🤣

On the flip side, there were a couple of bits of news yesterday that I really wish were April Fools but actually aren't!

I realize that April Fools Day is the worst day for journalists because you never know what's true or fake. I completely fell for a Tex-Mex restaurant's prank who posted about their "world famous" sign being stolen and I kept DMing and calling the restaurant to get more details and it turned out it was a stunt to promote a partnership with a local company. I felt soooooooooooooo dumb. lmao

But yeah, it was fun. \o/

Tried to convince my dad's girlfriend that Nick and I were having a kid -- lol she knew right away it was a prank. :p

My mother asked me if I could find her jacket upstairs, which I told her I couldn't find it. (Before I handed it to her and said April Fools).

She said "You know it's a day early". She was right, it was march 31st. opps

Biggest April Fool is me not getting Alberius yet in Dragalia.

I watched a tiny bit of Adult Swim Junior, and was anxious about Obey Me's Anime Adaption possibly being an April Fool's Day hoax. It wasn't. Nothing else to say, though, April Fools for me usually happens on the 31st because all my Japanese games are a day ahead.
