Your signature Pokémon

Not sure if "signature Pokémon" is the right term since he probably wouldn't see much battling, but I like to think I'd have an Eevee with a similar colorization to its GSC Shiny to represent my domestic medium hair, Ciel. (Some may argue that Espurr would be a better fit, but it's more of a Scottish Fold while Gamefreak staff have compared Eevee to a fluffy cat or dog.) In this reality, however, I imagine that this would be an ordinary color variation of Eevee and not "Shiny" per se. Just like my cat IRL, this Eevee would've been given to me by my aunt about 11 years ago. He loves being picked up and carried around!

Spoiler:
Next to that, I could see myself exploring with Mothim since I'm a bit of a moth-watcher IRL and can't resist taking pictures of bagworms whenever I see them. I imagine that I would've caught him as a Burmy about 4 years ago, when I saw my first active bagworm.

Spoiler:
I hadn't really given much thought to nicknames for my IRL gang up to now, but how about Lief (not to be confused with Leif)? I've got an in-game Shiny Mothim named Tael and Lief's the German spelling for another male fairy from Zelda, Leaf. Burmy (Plant Cloak) is covered in leaves, after all!

Well, ideally it's a dragon. Probably Salamence. Stuck with me because I helped it as a Bagon accumulate enough energy to evolve and actually fly rather than leaping head-first off cliffs.

But if I followed a logic like the above, my first ever pet lamb would now be an 18-year old Ampharos! Or more likely a Dubwool given Galar's based on the UK.

The obvious choice would be Glaceon, nicknamed Aurelia after a video game character with that name who specializes in Ice attacks. It's a pretty and fitting name to me and my go to for nicknaming Glaceon.

For the pet route, I don't think there's ever been a time where I haven't had a cat as a pet. Kind of hard to pick which cat Pokemon though...
Glameow, perhaps?

There are a couple dozen Pokemon I'd love to have as my signature Pokemon though. I'd see myself using a Delphox or Meganium or Aurorus or Alolan Ninetales as my signature Pokemon to name the top contenders.

Sylveon, for sure. No doubt in my mind. I always have one and I always name them "Doux". If I had to pick a second, I'd probably go with Volcarona.

Mine would be a Weavile named Shinobi, she is my attacking leader. When I was playing Pokémon for the first time and I saw a Sneasel I loved its design and I wanted to catch one right away, that would be all the backstory I guess. Otherwise it would be an Ambipom named Luffy. He is also an attacking leader but from another team. I got him since he was in an egg as a result of breeding traded Pokémon and stuff. They are only pixels but I love them because I don't know.

I think my username gives it away, but Empoleon. It was my first fully evolved starter, so I assume the same would happen if I actually was in the Pokemon world. As much as I love nicknaming my Pokemon, I never give nicknames to my Empoleons because I didn't name my first one. If I had to, I'd probably name it Rad, as you might assume from my username.

My profile picture says all I need to say. Though if you want details, I'll be happy to give them.

I've had self-inserts for god knows how long, and even though they didn't look anything like me or had a consistent appearance, they did consistently have Ghost-types as partners. First it was the Litwick line (Chandelure mostly, and for a time Lampent), then Gengar, and finally Mimikyu. Somehow, I ended up liking the little ragdoll baby not just better than any Ghost-type, but better than any other Pokémon period - and it only intensified after my mom got me a Mimikyu plush to keep me company while I was recovering from an accident. He's been my little baby ever since. I don't know if he even has a "given" name like my in-game Mimikyu do, but we call him El Mimi.

Bonus: I have since shamelessly made a self-insert that looks one hell of a lot more like me - like my 13-year-old self-inserts, but more polished. Fittingly, Mimikyu is my partner, and he's a Ghost/Electric regional form closer in appearance to my plush buddy.

I'd have a Breloom, and I'd name them Palamon, since I used to say online when I was 11 or 12 that I was a Breloom, so I'd want to keep the legacy going. It'd be too easy to just go with my favorite top five Pokemon for this, so I'd definitely go with Breloom as my signature. It is one of my favorites, but not in the top 5.

I'll pick mamoswine. I've always wanted a pet woolly mammoth.

This is so cool and unique. ❤️

For me, as much as it seems like it would be Mareep or Wooloo in their first forms, I feel like it would be a tie between Flareon and Ampharos. Just love the former so much and the latter is so cute and strong, especially mega evolved. :3

As my username would suggest, it would be a Mew, preferably a shiny. They're just too cute and their lore is fascinating.

Mine would be Flygon, easily.

In every game, even going back to when I was a kid playing Gen 2 and 3, I always avoided using overpowered Pokémon. Don't know why really, but I just always preferred to use the more underrated ones. And early on, this meant I never used dragons (Dragonite, Salamance, even Charizard). BUT then there is Flygon, who is the first dragon who didn't feel like it was meant to be OP, with an incredible design and color scheme. And to this day, In whatever game, if Flygon is available, it's on my team :)

I never nickname my Pokémon unless im doing a challenge, so probably no nickname.

I think the answer to this question should be quite obvious. Ninetales, of course. Her name would be Amika.

In a hypothetical reality, I would be raised alongside a Vulpix, whom instantaneously became my dearest companion. Upon reaching an appropriate age to pursue my ambitions of becoming a coordinator and trainer, Vulpix and I would embark upon such a journey and chase our dreams. She would eventually become a Ninetales, of course, and the two of us would live a life of adventure.

Good topic! Hmm... I've long since declared shiny Sneasel as one of my absolute favorite pokémon designs, but I have plenty of other favs too. I think Pikachu or Raichu are pretty good signature pokémon for me, but at least Pikachu is so very common that it's a bit boring to pick, haha. Chikorita would be a pretty good signature for me ngl, seeing as it's a smol bubbly grass type which is p much me irl lmao (i need sunlight, i'm a flower - i suppose cherrim or sunflora would fit too in that sense). Ribombee is another one that's kinda suitable for me, but hmm. Maybe a bit too cute hahah. Flareon is another fav of mine, so cat like and cuddly and I do like fire types. It could fit.

Buuut in the end I'd probs go with Sneasel or Raichu if anything :3 or maybe Flareon.

Empoleon, my first pokemon. Not much to say, experience and love are the main things that would make my Empoleon and I a very good team.
My Empoleon back in Pokemon Diamond has kinda become legendary between my friends as well.
I almost completed my first pokemon game with only my Empoleon. And I used to go trial and error at the League which brought me to level up my Empoleon to level 100 lol. Then a friend and I had a battle on the Ds and my level 100 Empoleon won against his level 77 Torterra lol. That was history lol. My Empoleon is so legendary that it also has tons of ribbons, like prolly all the collectible ones in Diamond lol.
He stays and will always stay in my Pokemon Diamond cartridge.
So yeah, no doubt my choice would be my Empoleon <3

Edna the female Crobat. Always has been and always will be my number 1 <3 I randomly gave a Zubat a chance in one of my older playthroughs, caught a female one and randomly decided to name it Edna, and it was the most dependable member of my team; faster than everyone else and could really pack a punch. Also never needed to train her much bcs she gained experience pretty darn fast~ Whenever I went out grinding, she would be my backup 100% of the time.

Yeah, changed my mind - definitely Flareon. Just looking in my Gen IV PC I have one from a Kanto save, one from a Johto save, and in Black 2 I soft-reset the gift hidden ability one until I got Jolly with 31 Atk and Spe IVs, EV-trained it and gave it a Toxic Orb with which to wreak havoc. I like that its far from unplayable too, never OU competitively given its weaknesses and lack of STAB off its high Attack before Gen VI holds it back too. I'd have Flareon out by my side, entering all my battles first, with Salamence waiting in the wings to obliterate opponents when anything gets a bit dicy. Plus Flareon and myself could ride it.

Even if I try to limit my choice to whatever Pokemon compliments how I present myself irl, the choices are still overwhelming. I'm stuck between Gengar, Incineroar, Scrafty, Toxtricity (Low-key), and Chandelure... maybe including Krookodile as well. But honest to god it might depend on how I feel like presenting that day, since I'd want my ace to match the color palette of the outfit I'm wearing that day. Somebody decide for me honestly.
