Any part of Pokémon you want to get into, but haven't yet?

I've always been interested in the manga but just haven't been able to get myself to catch up yet - mostly due to how many volumes there are. Going to take forever. But I suppose the sooner I start, the sooner I can catch up aha.

Anyone else interested in a specific part but haven't gotten around to it yet? Or are you already involved with the parts of the series you have an interest in?

The TCG, but it requires far more money than I am ever likely to see in my lifetime, haha.

I'm also moderately interested in challenges, but I don't really have the time or the motivation to replay the games right now. I did a few challenge runs earlier this year and they weren't as...well, challenging, as I thought they were going to be, and I'm already quite proficient at going out of my way to make my life difficult as it is without doing it during my leisure time too. I think if I want a hard game, I'll play a hard game. But it's still something that piques my interest.

I did have thoughts of playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game, but I never got around to it. I have been too busy simply focusing on the games instead and battling competitively. I also do want to read the manga, but I am not too sure where to buy.

Manga for me as well, but more like I wanna get back into it instead of getting into it for the first time. I finished the Red & Yellow arcs in the OG issues, skipped past Johto for some reason (prolly got bored idk), then read through the entirety of the first Hoenn arc, before promptly taking a long hiatus due to how taxing that experience was (I was impressed with just how far they were able to stretch out the Kyogre Groudon battle, goodness gracious).

Add another one to the list for the manga. I own the first volume of the Adventures manga, and I've tried 3 or 4 times to get into it, and can never get more than a few chapters in before dropping it. It's a shame because I know there are some cool stories that are told across not only Adventures but some of the other manga as well, but I only know about them in passing from what I've heard from other people on the internet.

Please, guys, read the Pokemon Adventures manga, it's good.

But, honestly, maybe the mobile game side of things. Haven't played a single one besides Pokemon Go. I want to change that, but what is phone space?

The manga for sure. Allways been interested in it, but it's just impossible to get where I live.

Watched the anime for some time... worst anime I've ever watched.
Tried the TCG... didn't like the mechanics in the slightest.
Most of the spin-offs aren't interesting to me. Legends Arceus was literally the first Pokémon spin-off I played since Colosseum. (Well, tried one of the Mistery Dungeons at some point, but didn't like the gameplay)

The Trading Card Game. I've bought about 20 booster packs and a card binder in the last couple of months since I'm making decent money now. There is a comic store down the street that runs the occasional tournaments so I'd like to learn & participate. I am just having trouble building a deck with what I have from Evolving Skies/Brilliant Star packs...

To everyone contemplating picking up the TCG!:

Yes, it can definitely be expensive regardless of whether you want to play the game or collect the cards. But I promise it is incredibly rewarding either way! I urge you, if nothing, to at least collect a few of your favorite Pokémon. Don't get caught up in deck building or annual rotations or 1st editions or secret cards.. leave that for the you who really gets into the TCG. Just go to your local game store / reputable online seller with no more than $15 in mind to spend and get a few of your favorite Pokémon that has what you think is the nicest art. I can promise you won't regret it!

I admit though, I do regularly mourn for my wallet... but the SHINY CARDBOARD got me hypnotized.

Anyway, I want to get back into competitive battling. I used to love it so so much and I want to discover it all over again. Also, I want to actually try Pokémon Go, lol.

i think above everything else, i was into the anime more. i used to think that it was kinda lame, because i hadn't really kept up with it since... maybe johto, but the anime is actually pretty decent these days and well above what it used to be. once i have the time, i want to get back into watching it and hopefully even marathoning some older seasons to catch up!

another thing i want to get into is the manga but that's... another thing altogether haha. don't even know where to even start for that.

I want to get into the TCG so bad but I can't find the motivation, knowing I've got too many hobbies lol
