Today: shattered. Got caught in severe snow coming home - the motorway was at a standstill at one point - and you couldn't see a single lane. Never been more thankful for four-wheel drive but being so tense for hours has left me sore and tired.

I just learned on a certain Pokémon message board that there was a popularity contest in which Japanese yume (self-shippers) voted for their videogame simp targets. Naturally, there were some votes for Pokémon characters, of which there were five.

Steven Stone? Fine, I did simp for him up until OR/AS when he wasn't to blame for the world's near-destruction. Arven? He has a fine personality, but he reminds me a bit too much of his icky parents to like him that way (not to mention he's most likely a minor, so he's out of the question for me). Then there's... Rika, who actually came in first despite always looking like she's tipping an invisible fedora (and also despite allowing a toddler to be on the Paldea Elite Four's payroll); Jacq, who looks like he hasn't bathed in months and smokes something illegal, and Volo, who needs no explanation for those who've completed PLA and/or know well of my hatred of his descendant Cynthia.

Man, these sure are some weird picks. Not looking forward to the extra boost of popularity they're all gonna get though, especially Rika who still gets hyped to hell and back due to the recent release of S/V. I'm gonna stay away from Pixiv, lest I want to hear Fontova's "Me Tenés Podrido" on a constant loop.
