HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHASE

Today we celebrate Chase or Castform's 22nd birthday! During his time at PC, he has made a helpful contribution with most of his daily vocabulary consisting of 'food, doki doki and lol'. He has also told me over two hundred times that he's hungry or bored over Skype. THANKS BUDDY

But despite all of this, Chase has been one of the first and closest friends I have on PC. And although most of our conversations consist of Typing Like This For Whatever Reason, yelling obscure things at each other in battles, laughing at dumb things, drawing Quality Artworks or the topic of food - I am genuinely glad to have a friend like him in my life and apparently this birthday thread is a place to say that. Really though Chase, you've come a long way and I'm really proud of you for that!

Happy birthday, you raunchy little boy. It's fun having you around, disturbing PMs notwithstanding.

When I first met user Chase he was but a strapping lad known as jellicentfan1, your classic farm boy sent from Alabama. He had a glint in his eyes and unusually smooth skin for someone who worked with the birds and the bees. You'd think it'd be rough.

He naively entered my house, the residence of an older man, with a big smile. I don't know what he was thinking; looking back, neither does he. As soon as the door closed, he scurried upstairs and got on his knees to pray to God at the altar.

Now his church had many strange traditions, but the most apparent to me was half-naked prayer. Being a gentleman, I simply sat in front of him and let him pray in silence, though with great fidgeting and stirring in my seat. But when a boy is half-naked and kneeling before you, with a well-framed six pack, what is anyone but the most disciplined man to do?

You have to admit, with a tongue that could wrap around the entire Mississippi and supple, large hands, he was well-suited to praying orally or by other means. Feeling God pulsate and throb in my very veins, I was confident enough to pick up my hammer and swing around to the back of the house for some nailing. Then I took the ladder and picked those ripe apples right outside my house. My back had long discouraged me from doing so.

And when we got back in the house, I dropped that hammer and had a nice meal, feeling younger and more refreshed than over. I felt sore the next morning, and he slept in late that day, but we were sure we had an excellent time. That evening, to celebrate our physical bond, we cracked open a watermelon and mashed it up to make a nice sorbet. It was so sweet, so juicy, so delightfully red.

So I'd like to thank user Chase for giving me strength in those hard, tremendously hard, times. Happy birthday.
