Parts of your brain are actually responsible for the salty/fatty/sticky food cravings. A very old evolutionary adaptation.
I know, our evolutionary past has been full of cravings for sweet tasting fruits and other kinds of food. It's kind of hard to fight thousands of years of evolution, though, so that's part of where the whole obesity issue stems.

I just stuffed my face with McDonald's not an hour ago, and… ugh. I feel like never eating again. :O

That's how I feel whenever I have binging episodes from time-to-time, but that doesn't stop me from doing it again ;; Though I'm past those days because I'm more in control of how much I'm eating on a daily basis, and the amount I eat from day-to-day doesn't allow for my stomach to expand that much beyond what I'm able to eat. So no more binging! But you're lucky to have a fast metabolism. So jealous :c I probably ruined mine by my habit of sometimes starving myself, and not eating the recommended 3 meals a day, or even 2 at times.

Well, there's also the thing about people not eating in moderation; portion control is little to none.

It trips me out when people get ninja'd and instead of deleting their post, they edit it and add "lol ninja'd XD"

It's too bad that vBulletin doesn't have a notification for ninja'd posts, such as "Oops! Looks like somebody has already posted in this topic! Are you sure you still want to post a reply?" That'd be something neat to see.

I'm not good with eating salty food. Sometimes I'm cooking and I get salt on the spatula and don't notice to mix it in then eat it all when I'm sampling my own cooking. Gross.

If you puke from the wonder that is Chinese food then quite frankly I'm not sure you deserve a place in this evolutionary chain.
I'm just a very picky eater. I try to avoid eating food that aren't aesthetically appealing on the outside nor the inside, which applies to red meat, non crispy white meat, seafood, and almost all fruits. I tried out melon yesterday, it wasn't as delicious as I wanted it to be. Unfortunately, this also causes me to miss out some important vitamins and minerals, so I feel like I'm going to die from lack of vitamins.

Because what you put into your body is no f*ing business of state.

That too.

Because from what I can gather, humans don't believe in a balance meal; otherwise, you would be labeled as a socialist or communist, which is why people are still dying from diseases caused by obesity. Those who want us to eat a balance meal want to get rid of our natural instincts in order to be more civilized.

To be fair, when you strip away our higher cognitive functions, we survive like other animals survive. For most dogs, you can't just give them food and let them free-eat - their instincts tell them to keep eating and they will get very obese. With our higher cognitive function we can override storing energy as much as possible because we know our next meal will come fairly soon, but at our base we are animals and we have to actively override it.

Plus, sugar and fat are just so tasty. I wonder if tastiness is a matter of genetics or socialization.

I believe the fact that sugars and fats are so tasty is because they provide the most energy to us. Don't quote me on this though.

Something along those lines, yes.

No, I am not a biolosciengist

Well before civilization only the people fit enough to have a "balanced meal" with what they had around them would be able to survive long enough to reproduce, but now we've drastically changed that "balanced meal" (from 50/50 meat & wild plants to corn & red meat) faster than our bodies can adapt.

That reminds me of Rustin Heiber's vocal-stelloger-izer-ist. :p

In all honesty though, "innocence is over, ignorance is spoken, arrogance is potent." We're a glaringly obvious work-in-progress as a species and are far from being finished. An example would be our animalistic inability to easily override our instincts, methinks. To me homo sapiens are just as selfish and greedy and illogical as any other animal but we're a hell of a lot more complex about it, tbh.

So um...in English, what does that actually mean? :x

Someone who teaches you how to sing, because Rustin Heiber's an idiot. If you want to see him talk about his kicks (literally) and his new single "Never Say Never" with a cool parody bit at the end, here. I don't know the word for someone who helps you sing better so I'm probably not any better off than him, lol.

A vocal coach, Alex.

Long time no see, PC. What've you all been up too, by the way?

Nobody has heard me sing in years, honestly. It isn't something I do much in general, let alone when other people are around. Back when I did let others hear me, though, they thought I was good. I:

I wish I could sing. I should really take voice lessons.

Well you should start singing along to the radio then, if you want to learn to sing well, Zach. You don't need a vocal coach to learn how to, and if you're self-conscious about it, then you can just sing when nobody else is around.

Void, the same goes for you, too. Just singing along to some of your favorite songs on a regular basis can have a major impact on your voice, trust me.

What, like a quartet, O'aka?

Hey, Jess. Long time no see.

Should sing more then (:

The only people who have heard me sing are my family members, and my crush. No one else even knows that I can sing, and relatively well, if I might add c: But these days, I've noticed that I've become reserved in terms of singing in the house, which I used to do quite often without thinking about it. Took a vocal course in high school for my music credit, and I discovered that I'm horrible at harmonizing ;; On the plus side, I can sing in multiple different languages like Japanese, Korean, Latin, and Chinese :3
