Was a bit tired and didn't do too much Leaf Green yesterday, so decided to start with that today! I'll be listing all the items/checks I do, anything in red is marked as progression if you don't want to sift through the lists.
This is where we finished up yesterday. There isn't actually much here check-wise, other than the hidden item in the top left and defeating Brock. So after acquiring some new, cool and hip party members, we grab the item and head straight to Brock. Brock is mega ultra super easy mode, even with the 20% increase in levels his Pokemon have. Although the Delcatty mirror match was funny!

For our troubles, he awards us with: TM15 for Setsuna's Emerald, 20 Rings for my SA2B and a Gold Ring for my Sonic 1. As we leave to scale Mt. Moon, we've caught enough Pokémon for Professor Oak's Aide, and are rewarded with some Optimized Logistics for EoT's Hellions in Starcraft 2. Here's how our team is looking at the moment:

Pewter Gym defeated - Ice Trap (OoT), TM15 (Setsuna Emerald), Rings x 20 (Arc SA2B), Gold Ring (Sonic 1)
Hidden Item in northwest - HP Up (ST Emerald)
Reward from Oak's Aide - Optimized Logistics (Starcraft 2)
Yay lots of checks! As we don't have Dexsanity in FRLG yet, this means the majority of checks will come from Trainer battles, and there's quite a few here! Routes 3 and 4 don't have much of importance content-wise, so onto Mt. Moon!
I forgot how much of a behemoth this place is. Very big which means lots of encounters and lots of things to find. Fun! It does also mean we had some crazy opponents though. I have a 20% increase on all Trainer Pokémon and as much as that means I'm only facing level 16-18s right now, it has been a bit of a pain when battles like this occur:

I actually go the wrong way and end up at the Cerulean-side exit, meaning I do forgot some checks initially. However I do have access to Fly AND the Thunder Badge already, so thankfully I can fly back to Route 4 and go back through Mt. Moon, clearing it in full. Thank god, because it's such a slog! After picking up the remaining items and teaching Dragon Rage to our Delcatty, we make it to Cerulean City!
Route 3 Trainers defeated - Supercharge (Doom), Ice Trap (OoT), Super Repel (ST Emerald),

Thankfully I don't need to do any shenanigans to be able to challenge the Gym, so first I grab the other checks and then head straight to the Gym so I can clear everything I can in Cerulean (other than paying a literal million dollars for the Bike lmao). At this point I shelved Volbeat as it just wasn't working out and have brought in Altaria (mainly as it has Dragon Dance as a move, pretty radical). The Trainers are super ez, so time to take on Misty.

Who immediately leads with this:

Thankfully the Trainer battles + whatever random EXP modifier I have on has beefed my team up quite a bit. Articuno goes down quite easily and she sends out a Skitty. I decide to be
daring and use Altaria against it, seeing if I can Dragon Dance my way to victory. Unfortunately I eat a Hyper Beam and die immediately, so back to real Pokémon I guess. Once Skitty is defeated, so is Misty!

Misty hands over the Ca- I mean er... Candle?! Alex definitely eating good tonight! We also get another Emblem for me and some Summer Squash Seeds for Devalue's farm (I want a discount on those okay?!). Most importantly however, that's Cerulean all checked out for now! Time to see what else we can get. Here's how the team is looking:

Berry Powder Man Gift -
Energy Tank (Super Metroid),
Hidden Item behind Badge Guy's house - Shield (Arc SA2B)
Cerulean Gym defeated - Rings x 10 (EoT SA2B), Hoo Bean (M&LSS),
Candle (Zelda 1), Emblem x 1 (Arc SA2B), Summer Squash Seeds (Stardew Valley)
So we're actually going to do a little detour first before going to Vermilion City, as I want to get all the checks along Route 24s and 25. We head up to Nugget Bri- oh dammit, why the music change? Oh no, it's you... it's Ash the Blue!

After we defeat him and smell him later, he EVER so kindly gives us a gift. Useless for me, but hopefully useful for Link in Zelda 1! NOW we can go do what we wanted to do. Firstly we clear out Nugget Bridge, including the very annoying Team Rocket Grunt that actually made me think I was softlocked after repeating their entire script again lmao.
Then we saunter along, destroying all the noobs until we enter the Sea Cottage and see a talking Clefairy! It turns out that Bill did a Jeff Goldblum and got merged with a creature. Thankfully he looks a lot better than Jeff did. We rescue Bill from being changed into a Fairy Type in a few generations, earning an incredibly worth Potion. Sick dude thanks.
We have nothing else left here now, so it's back to Cerulean and as we don't have Cut or the Badge to use it, we need to go to Vermilion instead via the Underground Path and Route 6. We snag all the hidden items on the way (that I somehow managed to find immediately, does that make me a nerd?), crush some more Trainer's dreams (minus one person who had both a Kyogre AND a Moltres on their team xd) and head to the best location in Pokémon.

As I don't have Cut access still, I can't actually do the Gym here, so I just grab all of the checks in places like the Pokémon Centre and Fan Club and the such, so at least they're done and out of the way.
Vermilion Pokémon Centre gift - Common Item (Risk of Rain)
Hidden Item near Pokémon Centre - Rupee x 1 (OoT)
Fishing Guru gift - Supercharge (Doom)
Fan Club Chairman gift - Heal Powder (Arc LG)
So I was checking my Tracker and could see that I could do quite a bit around the Route 10/Lavender Town area, however was a bit confused because I couldn't access that. Or so I thought. I had completely forgotten that I had a free Fly location, which happened to be Route 10! Although whilst checking this I did also see some other loose checks that I decided I'd go and sort out before starting that segment.
First off - Route 22 and Victory Road. We start off with the Rival fight (nice and easy, he only has level 11s here) before moving to the Pokémon League and Victory Road. There wasn't much here, BUT I went in way over my head when I did the Victory Road check, as it happened to be this battle...

Thankfully through the power of trash AI movesets and outnumbering them, we did it!

I did decide that I'd catch a Pokémon as a little treat. I was very glad I did, as it was a level 34 Ho-oh with
HUGE POWER. Going to be very fun to use! Now this did open up another check, which was getting the reward from Professor Oak for beating our Rival. I am glad I decided to go and get it, because this actually unlocks the Fly HM for Deva!
With that whole area now done, I decided to clear out Route 11 next to Vermilion City (and get the Aide check here too), so again that is out of the way when I return to beat Lt. Surge. With that done, it was time to finally head to Route 10 and get the (currently) last lot of checks out of the way!
Route 10 thankfully is very small, however the Rock Tunnel is once again massive... after managing to get through (and obtain some new Pokéfriends), we finally make it to Lavender Town! Here is how the team is looking right now (EXP modifier + lots of Trainers is causing a bit of an issue in that catching Pokémon is basically luck of the draw, as I just kill everything atm).

So there's no Gym here, however it seems there's a commotion at the Pokémon Tower. Time to go see what's going on there then. We don't get too far in though we're greeted by - groan - fake Ash aka our Rival.

The real question is why are YOU here, faker? After threatening to kill my Pokémon (what the fuck), we wipe the floor with him (and then beat him up), before exploring the tower. As we don't have the Silph Scope yet, we can't fully complete this, but again I'm clearing out the checks so I'm not having to do them later when I return.
Rival defeated (Pokémon Tower) - Crusher Beam (Earthbound)

Tea Woman gift - Rabbit's Foot (Earthbound)
Coin Case gift -
Sword of the Ancestor (KH2)
Rocket House item - Money (Risk of Rain)
Hidden Item near Cut tree - Expanded Hull (Starcraft 2)
Thirsty Girl rewards - Box of Rockets (Doom), Ultra Ball (ST FR),

I'm now completely BK'd (stuck) until I get some things to progress. Surf/Cut and the Cut Badge would be super amazing, Silph Scope will allow me to complete the Pokémon Tower. Can't think of much else right now I need for progression that isn't more endgame stuff.
Here's the team at this point in the run!
