We celebrate the last of April instead as our spring day or LIGHT A FIRE AND BANISH THE FECKIN WINTER TO HELL feast. Also some fireworks.

Apparently in English it's known as Walpurgis? We call it Valborgsmässoafton.

We have Labour Day on Monday in Canada as well. Though we added a "u" to differentiate it from the American version. xD

I worked on Family Day(a Canadian holiday in February) a few years ago. It was cool because the store wasn't open to the public, and we were just doing some remodeling. :)

I also got paid time and a half. Best work day ever. ^_^
