What made you smile/happy today?

We got a beautiful chess set for my brother's birthday today, and he liked my hand-painted card, plus I plan sushi for dinner and then, the lemon cheesecake he requested! So going well so far!
 
My mom sent me a package and it arrived today! She didn't tell me what was gonna be in it, but it was a big bag of Kit Kats and Reese's candies.
 
I beat the original Mega Man NES game without save states or glitching.

This was a headache and I would never recommend doing it.
 
My partner dropping me a random "friendly reminder" DM that was very romantic and sweet, despite being so busy at work :senpai:
 
For what it's worth I cranked out a whole VPP tonight which I feel a little lowkey proud of!
 
Smelling the scent of jasmine, seeing carpets full of buttercups in the yard and bright orange and yellow and pink roses, while the neighbor's cat clings to the leg of the pants, adding some comic relief to this spring scene. Also Spanish lavender, smelling so fresh, and my cat sticking his face in it.

I should be happy that it's Friday and I've gotten paid, but spring is doing more for me than money right now.
 
I was able to buy this gorgeous bathing dress today in instalments!! <3 Navy suits my skin a lot so now I can finally go looking chic, even with my pale complexion - and paired with a sunhat + sun screen, won't have to reveal too much skin to the sun!

Found a gift card an it still had $50 on it! Flippin' sweet. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

I wrote most of it on Sunday and looked over it Monday morning. That said I'm really happy with how it turned out. I was writing about something I'm passionate about, so that helped give me some motivation to write (something I usually struggle with)
