    Do you show-off your skills to people on purpose?

    Me? Not really. I don't like to show-off my skills in a matter that would make me look like a show-off...

    Yes. Why deny it? Sometimes I do make a fool out of myself by being overconfident, but it's all in good fun. I never do it to be a jerk, though. Like "haha, you can't do it but I can". That's just immature.
     
    Heheh, I prefer to keep my cards held close... but if i've already played them then yeah, I admit it, I do show-off. The funny thing is that when I do show-off I tend to also scare the crap outa anyone around. X)
     
    I prefer to hold back as much as possible during the first round of whatever game I'm playing with someone at the time. My main reason would have to be the fact that it gives me the element of surprise later on and I absolutely love that.

    I will, however, scare people with something I know how to do. Because that's just fun.
     
    I don't really like to 'show off' but sometimes I try to do it subtly, which ends up me failing at it.

    Like for example, some people are watching me play a video game that I'm really good at, so I try to do as best as I can to impress them, but under the pressure of knowing people are looking at me, I just end up failing miserably.
     
    Yes. Of course. It makes me feel like a boss.

    But not to show them I'm the best, only if they want to or they can just watch me with my soccer skills.
     
    showing off!!!i believe when we try to show off,something embarrassing happens to us..so no,i don't like to show off....if i have some skill i would say i can do... but i don't show off,i don't like that!

    there is something i might show off about though but i won't say it here ^.<
     
    I don't try to, but I do get that feeling like I'm showing off when someone is watching me do something and I'm the only one doing it. It's rather hard to explain what that feeling is, but it comes to me from time to time.
     
    I do if it's an appropriate time and place to do it (like an open mic night for singing/playing guitar), but otherwise I don't intentionally try to show-off anything
     
    Showing off would require having skills worth showing off, and being the center of attention, so no :P

    I do have this funny thing I can do with my thumb that nobody else can though, and I show it as some sort of party trick! Don't know if that counts as a 'skill' though.
     
    I don't really show off that often unless you count doing some crazy stuff with pens and coins.
     
    I do this with stuff I'm talented with all the time.
    For example, my brother walked in the room the other day when I was doing some CSS, and I totally rubbed it in his face that he didn't know about anything that I was doing. Same thing happens with me and music. I'll tend to show off a lot.
     
    No. I am generally a shy person and don't like to do anything that might be showoffish.
