Do you collect anything?

I used to be a very big collector of things. Still have those collections too, just don't really focus on that stuff these days. Now I mostly just get Fox plushes when I see them lol.

Of course! I collect
  • Anime figurines and other merch
  • Die-cast model cars and trucks
  • Business Cards
  • Hotel literature, including directories, rack cards/brochures. notepads, etc.
  • Most of my old physical media; I've been known to sell back very few video games and I think I've held on to literally every single anime DVD I've ever bought.

From the late 1990s to late 2000s, I collected the U.S. quarters that featured the states. Also, I collected several of the Beanie Babies toys. Sadly, those items were lost to time... I wonder if they are worth any value today...

Nowadays, I collect Pokémon games, cards, and plushies. Also, I have kept the physical boxes to my childhood systems (N64, Gamecube, Wii) and kept the cases to my N64, Gamecube, GBA, and Wii video games. I like to display the vintage items around the house. I'm slowly overtaking the house with said decor much to my husband's surprise. It's not like he's decorating lol.

Giraffes. That's the short story. Long story is, Osaka would hold handcraft markets every 4 months and I have been to many of them since 2021. For my first visit, what did I want to purchase to make the trip worth it? You got it. Giraffes. It grew from there and I have three stacked shelves full of mostly handmade cute cameleopard things.

My other main collection is merch from the Aron evo line. I don't think this warrants an explanation. :>

Mainly collecting sneakers and pokemon cards since a long time.

Would love to see a collab Nike x Pokemon on a Jordan 1 tbh ahah

Yes! I collect a lot of things for my 18 inch dolls. I've mostly stopped collecting other dolls though. I have quite a few. OwO I also collect a lot of things from Bluey because it's another one of my special interests. <3 I simply cannot resist Bluey merch when I see it. 8D Another thing I tend to collect that I actually don't use much are stim toys, which is an autistic thing (since duh actually autistic person here lolol).

Even though I have probably thousands of books in my house, I don't really count them as a collection. I'd be fine with most of them going.* I just have them because I prefer reading actual books over ebooks, and I can't listen to audio books.

Right now, my main collection is virtual pets: Tamgotchi, Digimon, Furby, and the like. I have about 150 of them in total. All various kinds and designs. They're also the only collection that I set out to have as complete of a collection as I can get, spending the money on them. Have a checklist, and I keep an eye on the prices. It's super enjoyable and I have a lot of fun with them. (Currently have eight running right now!)

I do collect other things, but they're small and not my "main" collection. I do have a rather large collection of merchandise of my favorite anime character, but a decent portion of that is in storage because I ran out of room.

Right now I'm slowly building up a retro game/console collection with the goal of someday preserving all of my games. The consoles I like to collect for modding purposes since that's the hobby that got me into collecting in the first place. It's probably been about a two years since I've started and I've managed to get a few of my personal grails thanks to one of the local collectible shop owners being an absolutely awesome dude.

I'm also a big TCG player/collector, with my main focus right now being both Magic and YuGiOh!
