    Now that Valentine's has come and gone, I thought it would be a nice idea for everyone to share their weekend to carry on that loving spirit! Not just for romance, but for friendships and family, as well. After all, everyone has their own definition of love. Did you send out any words of appreciation through Luvdisc this year? Enjoyed the company of friends? A cosy night in with that special someone?

    If you feel like gushing over your loved ones then this is the place for it! <3

    I sent 15 messages. Some of them were random and completely on impulse, many I was sending to I had never even spoke with. But I liked the thought that maybe at least one of those messages could improve the day of someday, despite that they were rather...brief. I think I even sent one directed to the luvdisc account.

    I received two when I logged in that night, and was ecstatically happy. It's not the most exciting holiday to me (being aromantic), so I kind of forgot about Valentine's Day until I logged in last night. I received about 5 in total, and I cherished reading each of them.
     
    I sent a couple messages, though anonymously. Anonymously, because I didn't want to pressure anyone into writing back. It actually worked out except for that one person who just had to know it came from me (you know who you are :P).

    So, I didn't expect any in return. I got one from that person, though, which I still very much appreciate.

    But in retrospect: I think I might have done poorly on some of the messages. Hopefully, next year I'll do a better job.
     
    i sent a few messages myself! i'm very poor with expressing my appreciation for my friends mostly because i never know how to go about with it or word it, so the luvdiscs were a perfect opportunity to do so. c: they all knew it came from me anyway, not that i really tried to hide it or anything. what mattered is that it brightened their day (hopefully) and made them feel good~

    i also appreciate the luvdiscs i've gotten o: more than i would've expected!
     
    i didn't realize just how many friends/acquaintances i had on this site til i tried to recount them to write Luvdisc Letters for. all in all i think i wrote to almost 40 people lmao (still feel like i missed some even :/). never expected it to be that much, and i also never thought i'd get much in return, (since i am still quite new to this community) but i did receive quite a bit, and i really appreciate that <3

    already gushed about my date with my partner, so i'll just gloss over that. my cousins apparently had a good Valentines together themselves with their wholesome family cook out next-door (i'm the only one out of all of us who's in a relationship, so this is normal eheh), and i couldn't help but be envious of how much better their food was than ours in my room T-T. kept smelling it lol. oh well.

    Pretty sure this is the most I've gotten since joining this site. Which is crazy because I was basically GONE for two months on hiatus. But.. I'm so, so grateful for anyone who took the time to send messages. Even you cheeky ones who didn't sign your names!

    My fiancé and I didn't do anything too special, just sort of enjoyed the day together. Sometimes just knowing that you can do absolutely nothing and it's totally okay is reward enough in itself, ya know? ♡
     
    I didn't get anything from anyone this year, but I sent out a lot of little Valentine's wishes to everyone in a Discord server I'm in. That way, every single person will have gotte something and not feel left-out!
     
    I sent a few but I feel like I could have taken an opportunity to write to more people! There are a lot of people who I feel friendly with but was too shy to write a Luvdisc to or was unsure of what to say specifically. Or people I just like seeing around and appreciate. I'm glad people left their name because it meant I could reply to them :D There was one I had a feeling I knew who it was but I wasn't 100 percent sure so whoever they are, thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry I couldn't reply because I was nervous of getting the person wrong :')
     
    I got two messages, which were exactly one more than I expected, so I can't say it went bad.

    I sent some luvdiscs yes! It's too hard not to, I look forward to it every year. Received more than I expected too, which was a pleasant surprise. <3

    irl partner and I went out for dinner at an Italian restaurant. We were there in 2019 too, and the food was still delicious!!
     
    I sent one message to someone on here and received 3 or 4 ones from people on here who I don't know still. In a way I wish I would know who they were to thank them, however if they want to be anonymous that's completely alright with me too and respect there privacy. Getting messages It made me feel really appreciatied which was nice since I don't really get a lot of nice things from people.
