Depends. Why is it hated on? If it's for major human and worker rights violations, probably not. Even though I do white collar work (software) and most of those worker right violations happen to people in the blue collar end of the chain, it's not a good sign and not something I'd like to support, if given the chance not to, anyways.
If it's because it's become chic to hate on it (a la Facebook), it has bad customer service but not anything indicating the work itself is bad (a la Reddit) or it's just in an industry people like to hate on (say, adult entertainment), I might.
That's, of course, all assuming I can afford to pick a job instead of getting any one job to not starve to death.
