"Please Eat."

How often do you eat? Do you feel you eat too much or too little?
 
breakfast whenever i wake up, dinner at 5 PM, a snack around midnight... i dont really have a schedule set in stone, maybe once i get a job then i'll have a better schedule for eating?
i tend to eat a lot though, i have difficulty feeling when im full until my stomach is in pain and idk why... maybe i eat too fast i think? :o
 
I have 3 meals a day usually but recently I've been snacking more due to a mix of being stuck at home w/ my snacks and also I've been exercising a lot more so I've been hungrier! I've actually never ate that much but I always overestimated how much I ate. People would tell me I was lucky to have such a fast metabolism and be able to eat what I wanted without gaining weight but I think I just didn't have big portions at all. My parents were good about encouraging reasonable meal sizes and I only ate till I felt content rather than full. I do definitely eat more when out at restaurants but at home my portions are tiny according to my friends :p For dinner I can just eat 1 small bowl of food and maybe some soup and be fine.

Actually I struggled my whole life with being underweight because of having to recover from an ED and needing to learn how to eat again twice (once in 2012, the other time was 2.5 years ago - long story, had to relearn how to physically eat) but I have now managed to get close to a healthy BMI which I'm happy with. I haven't had the best relationship with food and it does feel extremely difficult at times to eat well but I'm doing better these days despite everything. I'd say I'm still working on it but it's definitely much better :)
 
I don't eat much. I skip breakfast entirely, and sometimes either lunch or dinner, too. There are some days I just eat a lot of snacks every once in awhile, and that's really it. Growing up, I never really ate a lot, and never really gained a lot of weight. Nowadays, I have a fear of my metabolism slowing down, so I don't want to eat a lot.
 
I love food, just call me a gastronome. I especially like to try things that are new to me or exotic cuisine. I can be adventurous in the kitchen. I also used to really enjoy the ambiance of dining in a restaurant over a nice, intimate conversation. Cooking is something that I find calming, and I keep cookbooks on hand and am always curious about tips to improve.

While I like eatting, I am quite random about it. I don't adhere to the schedule that many here do, though I probably should. It's not uncommon for me to skip breakfast and not eat anything till lunch/brunch time, or graze throughout the day, eatting a handful of almonds here grabbing a piece of fruit there. But at the end of the day I like to cook a full course meal for dinner, and have fun with it, putting out nice china, and placing flowers on the table, making up for what I might have missed earlier in the day.
 
One full meal, some snacks scattered throughout.
 
Twice a day is perfect for me. Screw the norm. It was just pushed as a suggestion originally and studies have shown that, given time to adjust, people can adapt to literally just eating whatever, whenever. So long as you just mind your calories and the quality of food you eat, you'll be fine.
 
I eat a LOT.

But I'm not that fat. I guess? I don't think I eat much as long as I'm satisfied.
I only weigh 63 kg together with my 5'8 height. I'm a growing man
 
I almost always eat twice a day and rarely have three meals, especially at university! I'll usually have a late breakfast around 10:30-11am and then dinner at around 18:30 with maybe a snack inbetween! I have huge portions though and love to eat, so am usually full up regardless!

Seriously, if someone actually said that to me, there would be some very loud fireworks...that's probably the fastest way to antagonise me. Probably.

Anyways, I eat three meals a day. I don't eat enough most days. That's...pretty much it.
 
I feel like lately I've been doing more binging one day and fasting another day, type eating. It's probably not healthy tbh.
 
Usually I eat breakfast, a snack, and dinner. During the late afternoon when I'm hungry I eat lunch and when I'm not hungry I just eat a banana.
 
i eat once a day since usually i forget to eat breakfast and lunch and skip straight to dinner haha.......... not healthy but it happens and it's life

now though i usually eat twice a day breakfast and dinner completely skipping the lunch part because i have stuff to do fml
 
I have breakfast at around 10, lunch at 14-ish and dinner at 20.30. I usually also eat a yoghourt at some point during the afternoon and maybe a piece of fruit if I'm too hungry. A stable routine helps me to not put on too much weight and also keeps me entertained while I work.
